Just received this fabric shaver (pilling) because I have a few pairs of sweat pants that have pilling all over the front of legs and sides. I hate the look. Cheap looking. This morning I cleaned the pulling off two pairs of sweat pants. The trick is to go slow up and down and then left to right. It did a great job! I'll do my other sweatpants later today. I will update my review after using the shaver more times. If issues come up I'll post them. Well worth the purchase price! The shaver comes with 2 extra blades, a carry pouch within the shipping box. It DOESN'T come with 2 AA batteries. It ergonomical and fits in your hand comfortably. It has a fabric shavings catch under the handheld part that easily slides off so you can empty the shavings/ lint in the trash! ... show more

This fabric shaver worked very well for me. The charging cord is USB-C on one end and USB-A on the other end. So you will need a device that can accept the wider USB in order to charge the fabric shaver. I plugged into my laptop. An LED light comes on to tell you it is charging, then the light changes color when the shaver is ready for use. You press the power button once for slow speed, twice for fast, and a third time to turn it off. It removes pills very well, as long as you don't go too fast when you rub it across the fabric. It has a little chamber for collecting the lint you shave off your fabric, and that is easy to remove from the shaver when you are ready to dump the lint out. In summary, effective, easy to use, easy to clean. I have no view on battery life since I have only used it once. I would rather use ordinary AAA or AA batteries than the re-chargeable kind, because the thing will become useless when the batteries lose the ability to hold a charge. Good for big or small projects, worked on silk and cotton (so far). Did not get hot, blades did not get dull. Easy to use. Would recommend! Got this because two of our blankets had a lot of pills on them. It worked amazing. It is small and fits well in your hand. It easily glides over any fabric and can cut bigger or smaller pills of fabric, even cut some random long strings it had as well. I used it for about 45 min straight, doing 1 full side of a blanket, then spot touched up the other blanket. It did not get hot, the batteries lasted and the blades did not get dull. Ready to toss out warm, yoga pants bc of the pills etc - very embarrassing. Purchased the Beautural Fabric Shaver bc had nothing to lose. Glad it arrived quickly. Works perfectly and this gadget saved the yoga pants from the trash can. All the little pesky fabric balls are gone and the garment looks almost new.
