Use this mug every day. I go to a coffee stop every morning and they charge a one time price for refills so I wanted a big mug. Coffee stays warm for about 5-6 hours. The top isn't completely leak proof so be careful that you don't fill to the top. Also because of the steam you have to let it vent a little bit. Easy to clean. This was a gift and I thought it was rather large and heavy. I was correct. I was also given the handle and as fast as I put it on it constantly dropped down. A friend of mine managed to push hard enough to make the handle stay in place. After using it carefully for a few weeks I noticed that the rubber ring around the top was beginning to come apart. So not only does it leak, not allow you to get a sip of your drink (don’t try to keep it from spilling on your clothes by putting your mouth completely on the opening, that’s where the manufacturer put an air hole that must be totally clear of your lips/mouth/nose) you will need a new lid and they aren’t available for a reasonable price! I’m fed up with Amazon’s selection of items and the sellers!!! ... show more

I've only been using this for a few days but already love it. Ice stays for 8-12 hours with multiple refills and using a straw. Speaking of straws make sure you grab a pack of silicone tips, I had 6mm on hand and they fit well on both straws (although a bit tight on the straight one). I really like that my iced beverage doesn't create condensation on the outside of the cup. The overall quality is fantastic and I assume this mug will last for many years. I purchased a second tumbler along with the handle for my morning coffee and maybe I'm just crazy but I swear my coffee tastes better than it did in my old double walled stainless steel cup. It also stays hot much longer. It takes me about 2 hours to get through a 12oz cup but remains the same temperature from the time I pour it to the time I finish it. I bought this tumbler for use for both hot and cold drinks and it has been excellent. It comes neatly packaged with its own bag that is great for storing the tumbler and its accessories together for easy transportation. I've used it to store away the straws and straw cleaner as the tumbler itself has proven to be too good not to use. I personally prefer to hand wash over machine washing and this has been so easy to clean by hand. The lid itself was my only concern as usually lids can prove tricky and have pieces that fall off and are difficult to fix back in place. That hasn't been a problem at all so far! It makes it easy for me to just clean it and fill it up again almost immediately. I bought this tumbler to drink with straws, and the straws are both nice, however I've found just drinking from the lid without the straws is also nice and in some situations better. I have a young cat who takes interest in my drinks, but some of my drinks could make my cat unwell. So being able to keep the drink covered completely has meant way more to me than I thought it would. The tab that covers the hole in the lid moves easily and naturally. I had thought it would be bothersome, but after trying it without the straw I found that I really liked that and it suited my needs. ... show more

I tried this out because I'm spending a lot of time in the heat of South Texas in a car with no A/C at the moment. I wanted something to keep my drink cold for hours, and THIS CUP DELIVERED!!! I fill it with ice and water before I leave, and if there's anything left when I get home 10-12 hours later, it's still cold, even after driving around in 100-degree heat all day. I was so impressed that I bought another one for my wife to carry to her job, and she loves hers too. The other great thing is that it SEALS TIGHTLY. NO LEAKS at all (as you can see from the attached photo). In fact, I should have read the directions which say to open the drink hole when putting the lid on or taking it off. It seals so tightly that I was trying to push the lid down and the air pressure on the inside built up and pushed it back up a little. That's a tight seal! I also bought the handle because the 40oz. cup is too large for my hand to just carry or drink from it. The handle is very good also. I have learned that when I'm taking the lid off, I need to hold the cup, not the handle, because the handle will release and then I can accidentally dump the cup. It would be nice if the drink hole was just slightly larger, but that's probably more personal preference than anything. I received my 30 oz tumbler today. It is in near perfect condition. It does have a slight dent on the rim. I washed it like I was supposed to and put some liquid in there with the lid on to see if I were to tip it over would it leak from the small dent. Completely leak proof. Got this for my husband after he said he didn't need one. Now he loves it. He's using it every day- and I've never seen him drink water before like this. Fills it with ice water in the morning, leaves it in his car and at the end of the day it's nice and cold water for him to drink on his way home.
