I have been using this portable bathtub for almost a month, around nine baths so far. It works great and seems durable. I scratched my head a little trying to figure out how to assemble it. The instructions had pictures but they were a little blurry and at bad angles. The instructions were also small and not much was written on them. But it wasn't that hard to figure out how to assemble it correctly and it wasn't difficult to assemble it. The bathtub seems to be able to hold hot water with no penalty and the water stays warm/hot for a long time. I didn't bother using the bathtub cover. I threw it away. It took me two or three times to figure out the best way to drain the bathtub. The hose valve is a bit high so it doesn't drain the bathtub completely. I fill my bathtub to two or three inches above the hose valve, so when I go to drain the bathtub it only drains half the water. Because this bathtub touches all of my shower walls, I wasn't sure how I should go about draining it as my shower drain doesn't align with the bathtub drain. It turns out that it is pretty easy. Even though the bathtub touched all sides of my shower walls, it's flexible so it was still easy to pull it to one side until the bathtub drain matched up with the shower drain. The hose is extendable and long enough. It is also durable. I originally extended the hose under the bathtub all the way to the shower drain. But now I don't use the hose at all. I just pull the bathtub over to the side until the bathtub drain aligns with the shower drain. One thing though is that the drain lid needs a weight on it to keep it pinned down because if you don't have one it will close after a split second and then the water will not drain. After all the water is done draining, I then turn the bathtub upside down and spend a few seconds trying to get all the water out. Then I move the bathtub onto the carpet and leave it there for an hour or so until it is dry. It folds easily and is very compact. It only takes a few seconds to fold. I was sliding it under my bed, but now I don't even bother folding it and I just leave it out until I am ready to use it again. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I saw so many negative reviews for this portable bathtubs, negative reviews in other listings for the same bathtub, and negative reviews for countless other portable bathtubs by other companies. All those reviews claimed that the bathtub leaked water and quit working after one or a few uses. I was terrified that the same thing would happen to me, but Amazon does have a one month return policy so I decided to risk it. I see no indication whatsoever that this product is bad in any way or that it has bad durability. It's a great product and worth every penny. If my bathtub ever breaks within the next 12 months, then I will update my review and complain accordingly. But until then it is a five star bathtub that can be improved some, thus the reason I gave it four stars. There are things that I would change about this bathtub though: 1.) I would lower the hose valve 2-3 inches so that it is flush with the bottom of the bathtub. 2.) The bathtub drain lid could be designed to stay open, by sliding it under a loop or snapping it against something. I don't like having to use a weight to keep it open so the water will drain. 3.) I wish that the bathtub was 8-12 inches shorter. ... show more

I was looking for convenience. It’s not just a simple fill, bathe and drain. The drain itself requires a specific size adapter if you want to drain it far from the tub. The tiny tube that is sent with it is just silly if you want to have it set up outside. I intended to use it outside. It’s a bit cumbersome for a small person to manage. Very efficient way to bathe. Not recommended unless you can set it in the shower like I did. I unpacked it and hubby put it together. I think the reviews are important, just like the instructions. My shower drain is in the middle and I didn't have one single bit of trouble with it draining. PLEASE be fair in the reviews if you had trouble with the draining of the tub, it's totally human error. Water stays warmer than a ceramic tub, I don't need it full for a bath. I do like a hot tub but can't wait long enough for it to fill, just like a kid. Plus I got a lot more soaking time in half the water and must say it was so comfortable. Where have these been all my life? I will use it for my personal 'spa' time. Excellent purchase! Read the description first because if you don’t set up the drain before you fill it there is gonna be a problem. I use this tub every evening going on three weeks now. I have to admit my wife did flood the bathroom one time. When I purchased this tub my wife thought I had lost my mind. Until she got in it and loves it. I’m a retired union plumber and I understand this is no cast iron bathtub but we have not had any problems with the quality of this tub like I said going on three weeks everyday two people using it and it looks and works just like it did the first day. It’s thick material my wife says it stays hotter longer than any tub that she has ever used. And it hasn’t gotten cold on me and I’m a very cold nature person. Take it from a forty year plumber if you want to take a bath and don’t have a tub then this is the the thing to buy. One other thing we purchased the inflatable tub first now it only lasted about a week or so and several tiny holes developed in the seams and would no longer hold air patched it up and it worked again but in my opinion after owning both this one here is the was to go it’s like a above ground pool ... show more

I am enjoying soaking bath. Problem of this product for me is width is too wide to put it into the original general bathtub. Width of general bathtub is 19-20inch. If you put this 23inch width Portable bathtub into it, the legs is bent inside. The other problem is , water heater capacity. My house own 45gal tank, then it cannot fill this tub perfectly. Narrower portable bathtub would solve both of issue. ... show more

I live in a room with only a shower. I bought this to soak and was pleasantly surprised at its capacity. Unlike most bathroom tubs I can completely submerge. You can't lie down its too short but I've never had a tub before where my torso and legs xould both fit underwater at once. I'm 6ft1inch for reference. It takes a while to fill with only a showerhead to use, but the biggest pain for me is draining it. I have to make sure to place something sturdy underneath the tub before filling it so it doesn't block the only drain in my shower.
