I bought these because I only wants a few folders. Didn’t want a large box. They are relatively flimsy, including the tabs. They will work for what I need but if you need something more substantial, find something with reinforced tabs.

These are higher in quality than some other file folders I've purchased, but there are very few in the package, making each folder fairly expensive. Do the math and if the per-folder cost is okay with you, you'll otherwise be very satisfied.

Purchased these file folders so that I could organize my paperwork and file it away in my filing cabinet. Very impressed with these folders and am very happy that I purchased them. The folders are made of great quality, they are strong, and not flimsy at all. I was able to fit a lot paper in each folder without any problems. The tabs are great to write on or to place a sticker. The position of the tabs are not all the same, there are tabs located to the left, middle and right which for me makes it much easier to see the labels once the files are stored away. In the future when I need to purchase more folders, will buy more of these for sure. ... show more

I think the best comparison w/b to Staples standard Letter-size 3-tab manila folders. I would say these are similar, but not quite as good. The card stock used is not quite as thick and they have more of a "paper" or "recycled" feel to them - where Staples uses more of a satin/gloss finish. They were put in my mailbox folded a bit - and "bounced back" just fine and are flat now. I think these are a reasonable option, but I don't think they will hold-up well to any long-term use. Nice inexpensive option for the few folders I needed here. But, I think next time I need to re-stock, I'd go with another brand. ... show more
