    • The hardest thing I've ever assembled - and it's got tiny drawers
This dresser, while somewhat aesthetically pleasing, has nothing to offer but pain and suffering. First let me say that I have assembled a LOT of furniture in my day. This was, without question, the most difficult thing I've ever put together. It took about 5 hours. There are over 200 screws in it. Over 200 screws!!!???? Make sure you have a screw gun if you are planning to attempt this because doing that by hand? No thanks. The directions were also really, really bad, referring to pieces that didn't exist and holes that didn't exist, almost as if they were for a different dresser that vaguely resembled this one but was just different enough to confuse and enrage even the most patient and experienced assembler. So somehow I made it through - calling in my husband for reinforcements at the end because the directions were telling me to do things that defied the laws of physics and we had to just figure out how to get the damn thing together ourselves. Finally, we stand it up, put the six painfully assembled drawers into place, and it's slightly askew. Just enough to ruin the look of it. My husband says don't worry, we can adjust them. That's all him because I'm not touching this thing with a tool ever again. Oh and the drawers are tiny. You can fit maybe three small pairs of jeans max in one drawer. If you are looking for a good way to hurt your body, frustrate your mind, a kill a perfectly good Saturday only to end up with a tiny drawered dresser that's a little bit crooked then this is the perfect thing for you! ... show more

This dresser is very nice looking, especially considering is is 100% laminated press-wood...not a single piece of hardwood...but that is to be expected based on the price point (and disclosed in the details). The box was delivered earlier than estimated, but with some damage. There were a few things damaged on the inside, namely the corner of the base piece of wood and one drawer bottom....I know this is Amazon and could have returned it with no problem, but my timeline didn't allow for another delivery. The assembly took several hours, and the instructions are very simplistic and not as clear as they should be. There are several steps where additional detail is needed (either larger and clearer blow-ups of parts, or better information of the direction of pieces), at several points in the assembly, it would be very easy to have a part inverted, or screw the draw rails on upside down...the instructions were very lacking in those areas. The only missing hardware were the nails needed to secure the back panel to the internal center support. Once assembled, the unit is very good looking, and identical to the picture in Amazon. The drawers are very disappointing. By looking at the sales images, you would assume the drawers are the same depth (or nearly the same depth) as the face of the white portion of each drawer....this however is not the case, in fact the design is very poor and appears to have been done to make the construction easier and cheaper. this dresser has a ton of internal space that is NOT utilized by the drawers....which makes no sense to me. The walnut portion in the handle area of each drawer is a piece of wood connected to the frame and not the drawer, which means that drawer depth had to be shrunk. Each drawer front is 7-3/4" tall, yet each drawer space inside is just slightly more than 3-1/2" tall. This dresser replaced another dresser I had that was a different shape but overall, this new dresser is larger. But because of the poor drawer design, I could only fit about 80% of the clothing from my old dresser into the new one. If I stacked up two pair of folded jeans in a drawer, the drawer would not close....terrible for storage. PROS: -Price - price is very affordable -Look - this dresser's design is pleasing, looks just like the photo CONS: -Instructions - this could use some improvements -Delivery - some damage to internal components -Parts missing -Storage - Does not hold much clothing, very poor drawer design If I did not have to replace a broken dresser, this absolutely would have been returned through Amazon. The primary function of the dresser (or any dresser) is to hold clothing and it totally fails at this. By my estimates, half of the internal volume of the dresser is void space, that, in theory, should be able to hold clothing. I would not recommend this dresser to anyone. I will say this, unless you are staging a house, "DON"T BUY THIS DRESSER". ... show more

    • Rlly hard to assemble
My handyman assembled this. Took like 5+ hours. Cancel your breakfast, lunch, brunch, 4th meal and dinner to get it finished. Looks pretty tho.

    • Beautiful dresser but extremely hard to assemble
Beautiful and good quality dresser, but itโ€™s extremely difficult to assemble. It came with 2 boxes I never could imagine a dresser with so many small pieces. Very good customer service. My dresser came with a missing piece, they were very responsive and quickly shipped me missing piece.

    • Product assembly is time consuming!
This dresser like previous reviews state has smaller than average drawers.I purchased this for a nursery so the smaller drawer size isn't an issue; If you intend this for adult size clothes it will be snug and probably won't fit more than a couple pairs of adult size jeans per drawer. The assembly itself was a rough process and took about five hours with breaks throughout. If you have no patience for building I suggest you pay the extra for someone to come assemble it.
