perfect for winter. I am warm during those cold nights and it feels like it doesn't weigh anything on top of me. The color is perfect and the hexagonal stitching adds some style to my bed. I paired this with satin pillows (even though this comes with 2 pillow covers). Beautiful and comfy. I have washed these at the laundromat and dried it on low which is fine. The stitching has come loose just a little bit on one side but that's from my new puppy who loves putting everything in his mouth. If you have pets, keep them off the bed or they can easily rip out the stitching. ... show more

Can't beat the price. Was shipped same day. Got it home, washed it, dried it and went to put it on my son's bed and noticed that the red side was a bit scorched after drying for only 30 minutes on regular temp and the tags were melted. That would probably be user error. I have never had that happen with a comforter or duvet before, however, I didn't read the label and can't read one now. I just wanted to put that here so hopefully, it doesn't happen to someone else. Dry on a lower temp! Otherwise, good looking and feeling comforter. Very soft and warm, but not too warm. ... show more

Pros: Soft, warm, lightweight, comfortable. Cons: The size advertised is not accurate! If you have a queen size bed and want it to hang over the edges, I'd say buy the king size comforter. Perhaps the king is undersized and will fit a queen bed perfectly. The pictures shown here are very misleading, it looks like they used a king size comforter and placed it on a full size bed to have the edges hang way far down over the bed, which is what most people with a comforter like this want, for warmth, coverage, and aesthetics. The queen size is listed at 88" x 92" on this product page and on the box, the actual measured size of the queen I received is 84" x 89" fully stretched out. With the comforter pulled up to cover my normal size pillows when the bed is made, the foot end barely hangs off the foot of the bed an inch or so. I would have returned it, but had just moved and needed a blanket for sleeping immediately once I received it. For better coverage of the foot of the bed, I had to rotate the comforter 90 degrees, but that makes the diamond pattern run slightly longwise on the bed, which does not look as good, IMO. Overall, it's a decent comforter, but please, Basic Beyond, measure and fix your stated measurements so people can know exactly what they are ordering. ... show more
