When I got it I washed and dried it per instructions. It didn't pooph up as much as I expected going on what the reviews said. Having said that, it is lightweight but warm. My favorite combination. It seems to be well made, and the emerald green is stunning. It did wrinkle some, but it's very soft.

For the price the quality is really nice. Washed & Dried perfectly. Super Soft and plushy. It is a nice rich Black. Note: when you receive it, it will be vacuumed sealed and Flat. Pop it in the dryer and it will fluff right up.

I bought the black/grey comforter to replace my old one. The comforter washed well, and it's soft and warm, but it attracts too much lint, and the pillow shams were much smaller than the ones I used previously.
