Without a doubt this band is of good quality. When initially received, it felt smooth to the touch and after a couple of weeks, the bands have held up well to normal wear as well as treks in the elements. The matte, solid, color as well as the sleek, thin form of the bands and the etched pattern on the outside are fantastic to feel, to where I sometimes fidget with the band when I’ve nothing to do. The locking mechanism on the second buckle has not failed nor made itself known by any measure, and after a mistake on the part of the company, in reaching out to them, they immediately rectified their mistake. This is a fantastic product as well as company behind it, and I will continue to buy these bands should something happen, or I want another color. P.S. The downsides though are that the buckles are stainless steel, which I imagine will eventually rust for those that live near water like me, and while I’ve said the bands are thin, I should press, they are noticeably thin, somewhere around <1mm each? Unsure if this is a weakness to construction though as they’ve held up well, but in any case I’ll edit this when I see rust, or if anything significant happens. ... show more

Looks sophisticated. Will fit with almost any style of dress. However, smaller band fell out of metal watch insert and could not be reattached.

After ordering several other Barton brand bands (of various materials), I believe the silicone is the best version. The leather was nice, but the clasp and water exposure (hand washing) led to fading/discoloration fairly quickly. The canvas was also nice, but similarly, after water/sweat exposure there was some fading. The leather/canvas materials also hold on to water, which can be uncomfortable. I wanted to avoid plastic looking bands, but decided to try the silicone material anyway. So far I love it. Material seems high quality yet soft and comfortable to wear daily, and the band is textured (though it's very subtle), giving it a slightly more sophisticated look. I'm hopeful the silicone will hold up well to water exposure and constant usage from day to day (and it doesn't retain water). Also, I didn't expect it, but this version comes with two different band sizes (small/large), which is nice if you end up not liking it and want to give it to someone else who may have a different sized wrist. Overall, the best Barton band in my opinion. I'd love to see more color options though! ... show more

I was hesitant to pay $32 for a silicone band - especially one that says “elite” to attract buyers. For the most part, silicone is just silicone and it’s a cheaper material ... but I was so wrong about this one! First off, the silicone definitely feels nicer and softer than those cheap, knockoff ones. I also like the color combinations (I got the white and black). I love how the white stands out with my space gray aluminum Watch. I also like the fact that once you buy straps with the adapters, you can simply swap straps out with a quick-release mechanism and buy JUST the bands, saving some costs. Took me a day or two to get used to the second loop holding the strap in place since I’ve never worn a band with two. However, the fact that it stays in place by inserting itself on the end of the strap and keeps the inner loop from slipping out is amazing! I had a leather strap that always comes out of the loop, which made me not want to wear it anymore! So this second loop is ingenious and makes the straps look like a continuous “circle” rather than the end of a strap in only one loop and kind of sticking and hanging out like most watch straps. These are comfortable to wear, easy to clean, and won’t soak up water or sweat. Overall so far, these were worth the higher price tag and it just feels / looks nicer than a cheaper silicone strap. Wish they made an all-royal blue elite silicone strap! I’d probably get that if they did. ... show more

Felt great and looked great. Unfortunately the quality of the connectors to the Apple Watch were dicey off the bat and failed just after four months.
