These lights put out alot of light. I installed 12 in my 30 x 40 garage. There not all connected in a row. The reason I gave them only 4 stars is because they were damaged in shipping I'm assuming. I hooked all 12 of them up and they all still worked. 3 lights were bent. I was able to straighten them so that you couldn't notice they were damaged. I placed these lights in my garage to replace the older style fluorescent lights. I cannot comment on the installation since I had an electrician install them. The main issue is, of course, the brightness. These lights are VERY bright. I am pleased with the amount of light put out. My wife, thinks they are too bright. I’m running 4 rows of 3 in in my main shop (28’x30’ and 2 rows of 2 in my covered portion (30’x30’) and it is plenty bright. I was honestly expecting it to be incredibly blindingly bright based on the numbers advertised but it’s not quite that. I’m not sure if they’re actually 15,000 Lumens per 8’ bulb or not because I don’t have a way of testing that claim but I’ll tell you this.. they are bright as crap so I’m satisfied with the purchase. Actually had one go out within a week of installing them, contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement no problem and let me keep the one that went out. Haven’t had any issues with the other ones so far. Put a pic of my bike in there to show just how well it lights up objects. ... show more
