  • Bambody is a win for heavy periods!
Bought this on a lightning deal after seeing lots of good reviews on the brand and so glad I did!! I will be comparing this to my Modibodi Classic Bikini. For my testing, I wore Bambody without my Lena period cup. Sizing & Fit -- I was hesitant to buy this at first bcus I was weary of the sizing chart. According to the chart I'm a size 8 which tracks with my usual size 16/XL but ultimately went with a 9. Some of the reviews pointed out that the leg holes feel tight and sizing feels a bit small but either way I'm glad I sized up bcus my heaviest days was were I was bloated the most. The extra room allowed me to roam comfortably. I also really loved that this underwear went over my pooch even though they have another high-waisted underwear. Modibodi fit right on the get go but it certainly feels a bit tight on my bloating days. Hard to say who wins here, sizing is always tricky for companies to get right. Capacity: Both my Modibodi and Bambody overnight underwears boast a 4 tampon capacity but .... I think they hold a lot more. I wore both for about a day and a half and they held so much blood, it took me 10 full min to rinse out the blood by hand until the water ran clear-ish. Bambody only leaked due to user error. I had sat weird which dislodged the padding area but it was minor. On the other days I wore it, it never leaked. I'd say both win here. Material - Love love Bambody's construction of their underwear. It feels very thin and soft like a regular underwear. Hardly noticable with jeans or a skirt. Modibodi feels a bit thicker and it's does feel more diaper-ish around the padding areas. Both have front to back padding yet I would say Bambody wins for making theirs feel more discreet. Other notes: Bambody had a fraying edge out of nowhere during my first use. I'll be keeping an eye on it and update this review if it falls apart. Furthermore, I'm dismayed that my bodily functions bleached the gusset while in use. Not a fault of the company, it just means you have a healthy vagina. Pricing -You honestly can't beat Bambody's pricing, original or lightning deal. It's worth it at both price points. Modibodi is an Aussie brand which is why theyre more expensive. For them, you'd definitely have to wait for a deal to come along. Bambody does win in this category! Regardless of my review, I am impressed and love both companies for making great period underwears. It makes me happy to have cut out wasteful pads in my life and to strive to be eco-friendly! I'll be trying out Goat Union in the future and see how it compares to these two. 😉 ... show more

  • Excellent for heavy periods
Color: 1 Pack: Black Size: 3X
I absolutely love this product. It was my first time trying period underwear. I was a little skeptical at first not knowing how it would feel but by far these are the best so far. Super comfortable and not a pain to get on. Relaxing fit for heavier size. Easy to breathe and coverage is decent. It feels so comfy when wearing them so much better than using pads or tampons. Easy to use and washable. ... show more

  • Perfect for me, but not sure if adds up to what is advertised.
I was interested in this product because of sustainability, PFAS concern, and long term money savings. I do not enjoy reusable pads (they move around too much), nor the cup. I really like these underwear. They absorb and keep me dry. However, the previous statement applies only if I wear them for a lesser amount of time than their suggested use. That being said, I do not leave the house without an extra pair with me and some sort of odorless/wet seal bag to discard the used pair (like a reusable pad). Again, this is ok for me but may not be for you. I’m usually a small. The small size fits, however, it doesn’t have much stretch due to the internal absorbent lining. And so, I prefer the medium. It feels slightly loose on the bum area but it’s much more comfortable and just as effective. I would like to add that it is quite frustrating that companies think selling packages of 3-5 pair is sufficient for 1 bleed. Especially because it is advised not to put the underwear in the dryer. I have 6 pair and they only lasted me a day and a half. Hoping that the pair that I washed will be dry by tomorrow. If not, I have to buy a box of pads. Which makes me very sad to think about. I think the overpricing and deflation of period products needs to end. Why does it need to be so expensive? #EndThePinkTax ... show more

  • Love these!!! Don’t get the “brief” style tho
Color: 1 Pack: Black Size: Small
Before getting into period underwear, I did a bunch of research on which brands don’t have toxic chemicals in them, and got some from bambody and from period co. Both are good but I really fell in love with these - they’re super soft, very absorbent, and don’t feel too soggy even after wearing them for a long time. They’re pretty easy to rinse out in the sink, then wash and dry as normal. I also ordered a 3 pack of bambody’s “brief” style thinking they’d be the same quality, but they are NOT. I wore them each once, but after washing them and drying them (you do have to put them in the drier, there’s absolutely no way period underwear will air dry), they shrunk down multiple sizes and the elastics started cutting into my legs like crazy! I haven’t had any issues with this style though. I’m 5’6, 130, and usually wear a 4/6 in pants, the 6 fit me well! ... show more

  • Good
They do the job for the heaviest times but I wear them with a cup or pads. I sized up and they are too loose for me, maybe the correct size would feel better but I am not confident in wearing them by themselves.

  • Great absorbency
Color: 1 Pack: Black Size: Small
These work great but they're kind of hard to wash out. I like wearing them at night and wash them in the morning but sometimes if I wash them with something else they're still a bit dirty. So I recommend washing them alone or giving them a really good rinse before.
