I've been using a 1.66 inch ball gag for a few years. Lately, it just seem to be a little small, I wanted something bigger. I got this 2 inch ball gag to see what it would be like, and I gotta say that I really like it. It really fills my mouth well, it's challenging, but not uncomfortable until I've worn it for a while. My first session with it was about 15 or 20 minutes, and that was good. My jaw was a little tired, but not sore when I took it off. The strap is very comfortable, and it adjusts well to any size head. I also really enjoy the rounded silicon bars that cone off the ball itself through the corners of my mouth. My other gag has a nylon strap threaded through the silicon ball that rubs the corners of my mouth and irritates them. The silicon ball and the attaching bits are all molded as a single piece and causes no irritation at all. I've bought a few gags now and this one is definitely tops the list so far for being affordable, aesthetically pleasing, and functional. It's quite comfortable and doesn't chafe after long term use, and is easy to care for. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I made my purchase as I had never used a ball gag before. Generally they say "You get what you pay for" and at roughly $10 I can say that you are getting much more. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly it was shipped to me (a day early even!) and upon arrival it had very discrete packaging which I know can be quite important for some kinksters. I was pleased to find that the straps were quite long, allowing plenty of room and with enough holes punched to fit just about any size you could possibly need. The leather itself is quite comfortable and I found rested quite snugly which I attribute to the hole spacing on the straps. The silicone ball is wonderful. It has incredible mouth feel, and enough give to be comfortable- the likelihood of hurting your teeth on this is slim to none. I found that the small size fit comfortably in my untrained mouth, leaving enough room to breathe and it didn't make my jaw ache. The design is sleek and clearly made by and for people who enjoy a little extra fun in the bedroom. If you're looking for a beginner ball gag for yourself or your partner this is absolutely the best purchase you could make, especially for the price. Having not used a ballgag before, we were worried that the ball might be too large, but it fits comfortably for longer periods while still filling up one's mouth and keeping things quiet. It's small enough that we're able to close our mouths almost entirely while using it; if that's not your aesthetic, you may want something larger. The rounded gag material leading to the "leather" straps is pretty comfortable at the corner of one's mouth, but may chafe after a while. In order to keep the ball in, you'll have to pull the strap fairly tight, but the materials seem able to withstand this. There's no way the buckle will come undone accidentally, but it is non-locking, so you may want additional "supplies" if you want it to stay on someone. Giving this four stars because the material is billed as being silicone, but has a taste/feel which suggests something else. We deal with this by wrapping the whole mouthpiece tightly with saran wrap, which is probably more hygienic anyway. If you go this route, just make sure none of the saran can come loose, otherwise it may present a breathing danger. ... show more

Ball gags can be difficult to use. Some are huge and terribly uncomfortable for the average person. Some also taste about as awful as a rubber or silicon ball can taste. This gag has none of those issues. Easy to put in place and to adjust. The ball is a reasonable size even for a small to average sized woman. The taste (after washing) is very mild with almost no discernible taste or odor. Highly recommended for supervised play only. Never use in an unsupervised situation. This is a great value. Well I learned my lesson. When my dentist tells me I have a small mouth, I need to listen. I bought the 2" ball gag because it was a dollar cheaper and I thought, more is better. More is not better for my tiny mouth. My jaw hurts now. Definitely not the size for a beginner or anyone with a small mouth. Also, I thought it would be a lighter pink than the product I received. I love this gag!!! Even though I ordered the larger size, it is very easy to wear and muffles sounds quite well. The strap and ball are durable and there is no odor whatsoever.
