I bought this top to wear playing tennis and hiking to protect from the S. Arizona sun. It fits beautifully--roomy, light and flattering. I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs. I bought a Large, for my arm length and I like things comfy and roomy. I could have probably worn a Medium, but I love this fit. The tail is plenty long to cover my waistband as I move around, I wear untucked, but could also tuck it in, if you wanted. As far as I can tell it is fairly good at protection from the sun...I don't have a bra tan-line under it. What I love is how light and comfortable it is. I have a few rash guards that I wear swimming, and they are tight and thick--(that's how they're supposed to be). This top is lightweight, breezy and super comfortable to move around in. I bought another pink one and a light blue. I've washed it one time and hung it up to dry, just to be on the safe side. It dried in minutes. eventually I'll probably throw it in the dryer. Love these shirts, and the price is a great value. I love the quality, it is light weight and I don’t sweat a lot in this brand. I order white and it is a little see through. I will be ordering more in different colors. The sun protection is great on. A little roomy and I like that extra space.

Update: So, I stand by the cool to the touch of the shirt. However, if it’s too hot and humid outside, you’ll run into a problem wearing your smartwatch. Maybe it was just the way I placed the sleeve, but during one workout my exercise tracking got accidentally paused at least twice ... as if the watch had lost connection with my wrist. So I tried just leaving the watch all inside the sleeve … but then the humidity plus the warmth inside the sleeve was not comfortable and my wrist would sweat extra. Now when I wear it, I roll up the sleeves a bit. Maybe when it gets cooler here I’ll be able to use it again. I’ve switched to a sleeveless shirt in the meantime. Original review: I think this shirt will work great for exercising. The thumb holes and space for a watch are a nice touch. It feels very soft and cool. The material is not thick, so shouldn’t get too hot. Really like the way it drapes. I’m an L or even M in normal shirts, but I got an XL (which was the size recommended). Glad I got the recommended size, so I’d definitely go a size up from your normal size when ordering. It’s gaps a bit under the arms like this, but I think a smaller size would have been too tight. ... show more

This shirt would be fine for hiking, a day on the river or something not overly strenuous. Without a breeze while tamping in a stone pad I found myself overheating in about 20 minutes. For me the cut was slightly weird. Snug on the forearm, sleeves a little short and not quite wide enough in the back across the shoulders. I will use this shirt for outdoor recreational activities but I don’t think it will be up to snuff for the outdoor work I do. ... show more
