My husband and I both got this for our hiking trip to AZ and let me tell you it was AMAZING, It kept me cool and protected from the sun at all times, it’s very breathable and fresh. It’s also made of a mesh-like material on the sides which is great for keeping you cool in high temperatures. It also protected us from the low temperatures at night which was a plus, if you’re thinking about getting it DO IT! I saw a review saying that the mesh melts in the dryer so I just put it in the washer and then let it air dry to make sure that that didn’t happen to me and it dried in a matter of minutes. ... show more

I ordered a small ( 5'4/125lbs) and its fit well. It is not too snug or loose. I am only using this for working on my roof in the desert sun. I never got any color for the entire day on the roof so the SPF is good! I used the hoodie with a hat over it and I like that the sleeves have a thumb hole so it stayed put with gloves on. On occasion I tried to use the face mask portion would it did not stay in place, but I think that is because of the hat. I hoped the back pocket would be large enough for my phone, but it is really only good for maybe a key. I think an external sleeve pocket would be better as to put a phone in it. I use this shirt for climbing. As other reviewers said, the hood is quite big, which is perfect above a helmet. I guess it may be difficult to adjust directly in the head. The neck gaiter and the thumb holes offer a good sun protection for the face and hands. Contrary to some, I did not burn or tan even after a full day in direct sunlight. The shirt is relatively hot however, and it does not allow as much air flow and temperature control as a tank top, even with mesh panels on the sides. I used it in 30+°C and it was OK but hot and sweaty. On the good side, the shirt did not retain any odor. On the bad side, it gets dirty quite fast and is not that easy to clean (but I guess it is a fatality when doing outdoor sports). The quality is not bad but not perfect, as it was mentioned in other reviews, the sewing is minimalist and I guess I will have to resew in a near future. I was lucky enough to be able to use the shirt more than a month without problems but I think that less lucky people will have the sewing falling apart within a few days. ... show more

The garment is very comfortable. The fabric is warm when you have to wear it in the sun. Nice if it could be a cool max type fabric. It is a good value for the money and looks nice on and great color. Just wish it let in more air.

I’m 5”6 and around 175 lbs. I usually get XL in sweaters and this one I could have gotten away with ordering a Large but I’m ok with it being a little more loose. I love the overall coverage since I have eczema and I hate the sun rays on my skin. Yes the sleeve length is longer than normal but I’m ok with it because I can use the thumb loop hole to keep in place and I’m sure tall girls will appreciate the long sleeve length. My boyfriend liked it so much I ended up buying him 2 for himself to wear to work since he works outdoors all day and will protect him from sun rays, keep him cool while working AND comes with a face cover so he won’t worry about forgetting to put on or losing his face mask at work. ... show more
