I’m a biologist and I’m often out in the sun and the elements. I bought this for sun protection and I love the design, but it’s a little heavy for summer wear (I have others that are more lightweight). I think this will be more of a spring/fall layer.

Wore this hiking in Yosemite and it was perfect. Lightweight so I didn't overheat with the temps in the 80's, quick drying and nice protection around neck. It's my go-to long-sleeved top anytime I go out hiking. 100% recommend.

My husband and I both got this for our hiking trip to AZ and let me tell you it was AMAZING, It kept me cool and protected from the sun at all times, it’s very breathable and fresh. It’s also made of a mesh-like material on the sides which is great for keeping you cool in high temperatures. It also protected us from the low temperatures at night which was a plus, if you’re thinking about getting it DO IT! I saw a review saying that the mesh melts in the dryer so I just put it in the washer and then let it air dry to make sure that that didn’t happen to me and it dried in a matter of minutes. ... show more

I absolutely love this shirt! Not to mention this brand Baleaf. It started with a pair of yoga pants that I now own 10 pair. I went on a trip to Alaska 3 weeks ago and needed a product that would be water resistant with feature to keep me warm and dry. Well, this shirt was perfect! I wore it with a thin long John shirt under it, sweater over it no winter coat just a raincoat by baleaf over it! And I remained warm and dry. The best feature was the attached hood with the face cover which helped keep the Alaska wind and rain off my face! The other feature which I love is the thumb holes that kept the shirt in place and kept my hands warm in my pocket. May I add I also purchased Baleaf water resistant yoga pants with interior flannel and they completed this outfit to keep me warm and dry in Alaska! LOVE IT! I really love the stretch of this top, the finger hole is very comfortable, the neck protection is fantastic, and the hood is snug. It's heavier than I thought it would be, so it gets pretty hot, but it protects from the sun as advertised.
