I have 2 kittens that like to run midnight. Purchased those mat in hope of reducing their running noises. It couldn't completely eliminate noises, the downstair neighbor still saying she hear them running but it was more gentle. Regardless, the product dampen some noises, and create a very safe and soft platform for kittens to play. They are so easy to assemble and clean. A solid product, did their job, reasonable price. P/s: some advices for folks with cats, buy this product and a XL dog kennel, maybe a rug on top of this mat. We trained our kittens to sleep in kennel for 6 hours at night, and on morning, this mat reduces enough noises. I started a jujitsu gym in my garage to train with a few friends. I don't have a lot of money for good mats right now so I was attracted to the price when I found these. They are a third of the price of conventional mats and they work just as well. I have no complaints and the guys that I train with were really grateful for the extra padding. I am pretty happy with my purchase, I bought the 1 inch mats to make a work out area from one part of my garage. Since I have weights on the my floor mats they don't shift or move at all. The mats are soft and allow me to do pushups and burpees with comfort. It was easy to install and clean. I deducted 1 star due to concerns about long term durability. My wife took out a tiny chunk out as she walked on the matt with gravel stuck on her shoes. Also 1 square was slightly different in height about an 8th of inch. After the pandemic hit us hard here in the U.S. alot of major changes occurred, one of which being he gym's being shut down and out for the count. I canceled my gym membership since the gym closed down due to the pandemic. I recently redo my living room floor and planned to make it into our home gym. I did lots of research on mats as I want to make sure it is easy to assemble, no odor, no stain left from it if I remove the mats, and also thick enough to do no damage on the hardwood floor. Saw this product with good rating so I started to get the smallest size, which is the very first picture attached. It felt so good that I ended up getting the largest size. There are some uneven edges but it does not create any hazards other than when you step on it, and then notice the difference.
