This popular bamboo fence is made from black bamboo poles 1 inch in diameter and the fence panel is 3 feet high and approximately 8 feet long. Black bamboo fences are handcrafted with commercial grade quality black bamboo. The black bamboo poles are grown in Asia and the beautiful dark color is naturally occurring. This fencing will highlight your backyard perimeter as bamboo privacy fencing or your indoor space as bamboo siding for your modular home. Use a bamboo screen to decorate chain link fencing and added chain link fence privacy. Our bamboo privacy screen can be used to accentuate your palapa thatch roofing or thatch roofing for a tiki bar. Black bamboo is different from traditional bamboo, with its exotic appearance of black and cream colors. Each black bamboo pole has premium grade galvanized wires threaded through each pole. This secures the poles together to create a durable bamboo fence panel, making them stronger than reed fencing and chain link privacy slats. I can't say enough good things about this fencing! It's exactly as pictured & is a solid piece of fencing. It's heavy so don't expect to not have to support it. I use steel T-posts which you can get at your local agricultural/farm store. Otherwise, if you are setting it against an existing fence or wall, it will need to be tied to same in some way. The color enriches everything from plants to furniture. Use your imagination & you will have a stunning piece of color & texture in your yard. What a great addition to our patio! We were looking for bamboo to give some privacy at our condo and to keep our cat from jumping over the fence. This bamboo fit perfect on our fence with a little bit of work. You can also see in the picture that it gives very good privacy as it’s hard to see through the bamboo. My husband had to cut a section of the fence out to place on a small section of fence; see picture. He was able to cut through a piece of the bamboo with a hand saw and bend the metal so the bamboo stayed together. We then used black zip ties to secure the bamboo to our black metal fence. We wanted bamboo that was darker to blend in with the color of the fence as we live in a condo with HOA and they are picky about appearance. Also, the fence is HEAVY!!! I could not lift it on my own. One small issue was one bamboo piece had a crack in it but I don’t think it’ll ruin the fence. Overall VERY happy with this purchase. It always amazes me Amazon ships such heavy items! Very helpful. You’ll just need two people to move it into house. I would buy this product again when we move to a house! I love the dark color and the look of the bamboo! ... show more

i needed some privacy on my deck so i cant see my neighbors and they cant see me.. it was easy to install, i used a lot of black zip ties to secure it to the deck spindles i love this product, my deck looks amazing, worth every penny

The media could not be loaded. I love it very sturdy and it took us 5 mins to attached it to an old 3feet fence. Using zip ties.

We actually separated the product to create two outdoor window coverings adjacent to our Palapa. We affixed the two sections to a square wooden frame and hung it on the outside of two 1951 vintage windows giving the area a really nice tropical look. We've got a few extra pieces of bamboo that we're going to use to fabricate a towel rack for the hot tub. I'd say we achieved a thousand dollar look for less than $200... ... show more

Needed something to give me some privacy. This did the job plus! I attached it to my 4 foot chain link fence with heavy zip ties. Very secure. Looks fabulous. Made this area into a “secret garden”. Gave me the privacy I needed. Looks beautiful. Wish I had another place I could use it.

I was able to install this easily against a metal fence with zip ties. I was pleased with the material, and glad I went with this "natural" look rather than your traditional white picket fence. It was also the cheaper option but it still looks great.
