I've been searching forever for something affordable to hide my flood mitigated ac unit that is almost 6 feet tall. So I found the 8X6 bamboo, watched the video and got the idea. Box was clean and dry but it was obvious that the bamboo had been wet previously. Had a white mold/mildew like substance and was already discolored in several places as we unrolled it. It is solid and sturdy though for now. I figure over time it will eventually age in the Florida sun but I was surprised to discover it already yet was new in the box. We predrilled holes and used exterior wood screws on a natural color to blend in. We put a 2x4 on the ground and used it to level & get the bamboo off the ground a bit. Now we will see how it holds up! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't damp & mildewy ... show more

These panels are all sized well, quite uniform in size. The wire keeping them together works great, and makes them easy to handle. Cutting the wire to adjust the length is easy.

I bought this to run along a shared split-rail fence line with my dog owning new neighbors. My dog is the problem child with his aggressive behavior with other animals. He’s a saint with my young daughter and is a lover of all people, but unfortunately he will bite your dog. They felt very intimidated by him and they have young children as well, unfortunately they only saw him while out in their yard with their dogs. They have every right to live in their new home without fear and I LOVE my pooch, so I did whatever it took to keep everyone happy. We have many bamboo fence panels at our bed and breakfast. This one was to replace a panel that was worn and faded. It is much taller, stronger, and sturdier than the one it replaced. The bamboo rods are thick and tall. Love it!

We needed 8 of these bamboo pieces and half of them had broken or extremely crooked parts. Not bad for the price if you get one that isn’t too damaged.
