I can't say how this item fits because I haven't had my baby yet. I will say the material is a cheaper version of Under Armour. It has some stretch to it and is "silky". I don't mind it though. The stitching is mediocre, in my opinion. However, this won't stop me from using this outfit. I still plan on putting my baby in it. I'll just cut off the pieces of string. The headband is not tied in a bow. The item was sent in a plastic bag inside of an Amazon bubble wrap envelope. It's a cute outfit, but lacking some quality. ... show more

I ordered the 9month size but it fits more like a 12-18month. My daughter has grown very quickly so this purchase worked out well for me. She still has a little room and shes 17lbs, 28”. It is so adorable and the fabric is buttery soft. The headband is very bulky and useless but I have several other that match the outfit so it’s fine. Just got this in 2T and it fits my kiddo wonderfully. The body suit has enough space and extra cloth that the shorts are shorts, not baby booty shorts or a cloth diaper cover. The belt is not sewn on so I forgo it as my kid would just untie and play with it. Same for if I opted to use it as a hair tie, maybe someone out there has better luck with such things with their kid. The snaps are plastic, I’m not a fan of them as I’ve had issues with plastic snaps in the past but time will tell. We’ve worn this once and despite me playing with the snaps they’ve upheld so far.
