My toddler loves Baby Alive. This is her 2nd one. Works as described. Make sure to purchase additional diapers. The bottle is difficult to refill with water or to fully empty in order to clean - this is why it did not get the full 5 stars

    • Overall ok, but more work than fun.
For starters, I think this baby is meant for older children. My two-year-old is obsessed with baby dolls, but changing the diaper and taking off a onesie and putting it back on is a lot of work. It usually leads to her getting frustrated and me having to do all the work. If there were pants separately, it could be better, but that's another purchase. The diaper is also not reusable. The intention is to buy a pack of diapers, as one would with their actual children. The packaging is also not your typical baby/doll packaging that you see in the store. It just comes in a cardboard box. I mention this because it's likely not gift-worthy as is. Overall, the doll is ok, my daughter played with it for a few days nonstop, but now is just sitting with the rest of her toys. ... show more
