I tried on many different dresses for the 1920s speakeasy event we were attending. This was the most expensive, but I just kept coming back to it. I’m so glad I did! The dress is beautiful, I felt so glamorous and got so many compliments. It’s well made, I’m hoping I will have an opportunity to use it again! The tassels at the bottom stretch a bit and a few fell off, they’re layered though so it really wasn’t a big deal. For reference I’m 5’2”, 128 pounds, ordered a size M. May have gotten away with a small. I generally need to altar everything because of my height, but this was perfect. Not sure it would have worked for me if I was much taller. ... show more

This dress was much more beautiful than I expected. Quality is good and it felt great on my body. It fit me to a tee (I ordered XL) and I got complimented multiple times throughout the night. I'm 5'8" and 210lbs.

I got this for a murder mystery party. I wanted something a little different than the same old short dresses. This one was perfect! It runs big though. I am normally a small and had to get an extra small because that was all that was left. I am so glad because even the extra small was big. I am only 5 feet tall and it was super long on me. It was easy to cut off one of the bottom fringe layers though and you couldn’t tell. I got so many compliments! My daughter ended up wearing it for a school play and again so many compliments! When I found this dress in Amazon I said: “this is the one I want to wear to my 1020’s theme party” I wanted a long dress because it was a gala. I am tall (5’9”) and I weigh around 145/150 pounds with a bra size of 34C. Reading the reviews many suggested going with a size medium 8/10. I used normally a size Small 4/6 but because I am tall decided to go with the medium instead. The Medium was too big for me. The fitting of the dress it’s not as shown in the pictures. It has no good form specially in the waist area. It is a straight fabric all the way down. It does not give a good shape or structure for your body (or at least for me). It has the style of a dress my grandmother could wear 🧐 and it was too short (above my ankles without shoes on.) The fabric looks nice and it is well made but it doesn’t look as pretty in person. If you want to look older or very conservative (no showing your body attributes) you can choose this option and go with the size you normally wear. So many compliments!! The dress fit well. Was well made. Did some tassels fall off? Yes!! lol. I picked up many! But there were so many on the dress, they weren’t missed. The dress could actually be worn as a regular gown without the accessories. Very happy with this purchase!
