Purchased this for a christmas gift and opened my door and the delivery guy left it in the wet porch, maybe sat outside in the rain 20 minutes but it's not inside of a shipping box just the decorative box it shows? Box is of course trashed including birth certificate and no idea where the bottle is. It's a shame. Packaging failed on so many levels. If you order for a kid at home they will know since not in another box and it's not taped closed. For the doll Doreen, she is amazing in every way. Looks just like the picture and my niece will love it. So with that being said I rated a 4, if it was secured better and I had a box, certificate and bottle I would rate it 5. ... show more

This doll arrived squished in an average sized Babeside box. Her left foot was flat and deformed as well as her left leg. The right foot seemed unusually small in proportion to the rest of the doll. The dolls head was way over sized and the left hand was bent at an unusual angle. I included a picture of this doll’s head next to another of my 20 inch Babeside dolls for comparison. The paint job was done poorly. There wasn’t any detail painted on the doll - No visible veins or realistic mottling. The hair was messy, and the rooting was poorly done. The hair roots were very visible and looked more like a department store doll than a reborn doll’s hair. There were accessories missing from the box and it seems there was little to no quality control before the doll was shipped. The doll overall was of poor quality with a lack of attention to detail.
