I really like the doll and the size of her, but the hair is horrible. I wanted to give as a gift, but I can’t. The hairI stays matted after you comb through section by section. FYI doll makers, African-American babies hair is not hard to comb it is curly and soft and manageable.

Hair is nothing like the pictures! It's a mess, matted and looks and feels fried. Whatever they are using for black hair needs to be changed. Skin tone was much lighter than pictured.

I like the fact that my daughter loves it. But it doesn't look like the advertisement. It looks like a knockoff. The bow on the head is small.... Very small. The hair isn't curly either. But as long as the kid isn't complaining, we will keep her. Not worth $45 to me, but i dont know what these things are worth to anyone else ... show more

This one is of high quality down to the creases in her hands. I bought her for my mom. She is absolutely pleased with the doll. My mom has dementia and she is doing better having something to care for after the loss of her cat. She is the perfect weight and size for her to hold. I'm looking forward to getting accessories for her. The only complaint that my mom said is that she wished the dolls legs were poseable.
