The media could not be loaded. My husband and I didn’t want to pull the trigger on a $1000 ice bath so we decided to try this first. We fill it up with cold water then make out our ice cubes. It gets to about 40/50 degrees and we live in SC. Not sure how the temp will keep in the summer

    • Assembly doesn't get easier

Especially for me... my brain bucks whenever I need to assemble anything. I have people on speed dial who understand my "anxiety" about putting pieces together yet I love a puzzle and paint by number go figure. This didn't count as assembly. 8 easy steps and done. Put the six legs in. Inflate, attach the drain hose and that's it. The tub is quite large. I am 5'3" and I can sit up to my neck in it completely covered to the neck. It's going to take some time for me to get use to the cold dunking but if I have to do it, this is definitely the right tub for it. This can double as a soaking tub too with ambient temperature water. My only concern and finding the right surface to place it on since my backyard is almost entirely mulched I am afraid to rupture it. Take that into consideration and get a mat of some sort for the bottom. Happy cold plunging. ... show more

I would 100% without reservations recommend this for single use on a daily basis, meaning set it up any time You use it, etc - it's NOT going to hold your ice water for 3 days or a week like a portable YETI. THAT said, the build is solid and the walls are thick, again, for daily use if You want to refill or re-ice it, definitely should last ... show more
