i was anxious once 'full' of hand tools this case would be over the 50# weight limit of most airlines checked baggage, but i have it well loaded with pliers, drill bits, a cordless drill and all that goes with it and I'm only up to 35#. it is a good size and meets my needs, but don't be afraid you will get too heavy if you up size to the 6700. ... show more

In theory, this case is great, but they utilize the space poorly. the fold out tool things are set up well, but just not mounted good and the last one in the bottom kinda takes up all the basin space for no reason. It's mounted really low and eliminates most of the big space in the bottom of the case. It's kinda weird. So it actually holds much less than you'd want it to. I actually couldn't get all my tools in there because of the layout and had to send it back. It's a great idea, just needs a better designed layout. ... show more

Been flying for 6 weeks now and the case has transported my tools with no issues. Sometimes I fly multiple flights per week, as well. It works better than some of the other brands my coworkers use.

    • Poor hinge design. didn't last more than 2 flights.

After using this case for only 2 short flights, the hinges are completely misaligned. The lid of the case a sever over bite. I have to push the lid to the rear as I close it so the two halves will mate correctly. Definitely do NOT recommend for the price.
