Got the six and three shelf versions for the area behind our stove. Very happy with the industrial look. The six shelf went together with no problem but had to cut about 3/4 inch off the bottom shelf to make it fit. Since it was actual wood, no problem. The pipes are about 3/4 inch and screw together easily. The three shelf version came with 1/2 inch pipe and was not as sturdy. Be careful of cross threading when screwing together. Both shelves came with hardware to install into drywall but i chose to use my own wood screws and aligned the mounts with wall studs so it is very solid. Overall, i love the look and more importantly the wife is happy too. Both shelves are great. Just be careful putting together the three shelf…once i messed up, crossthreaded a joint, i went full plummer, dropped my trousers an appropriate amount and used my wrenches to make sure the fittings were properly cinched down. ... show more

They’re a little difficult to keep straight during installation but overall, it’s a great product. It’s heavy duty, looks great and most definitely serves its purpose.

Ordered in August; finally got around to being able to put this up. Went and bought some wood at Home Depot, cut to desired length, applied teak oil. Next day (today) began assembling. Right out of the gate, I see "do not use drywall" on the included paper. Great. Now I can't put the pipes the distance I wanted them and will be forced to used studs, leaving a bunch of wood hanging over on each end. And then, the pipes themselves are inconsistent in length. You cannot get all four plates, of each assembly, to lie flat against the wall. So, I cannot install this. So between the cost of this thing (70) and the wood I bought (30), I'm out $100 with nothing to show for it. I'd've rather spent that 100 and then some, buying raw pipe from Home Depot, and designing my own. ... show more

    • Nice simple pipe shelves.
This three shelf unit comes with the wood planks and looks nice with my industrial modern decor. The shelves themselves are mdf with a fake wood veneer on top. Not my favorite, but they're easy to paint over should you choose to do so. Assembly is easy and straightforward, with the most time being spent trying to screw the pipes together in such a way that they're all tight and properly aligned. But other than that its a piece of cake. The set comes with the screws and drywall anchors for installation. ... show more
