We put this on our 2nd floor bedroom deck. Very nice , fun to look at and walk on barefoot, very thick and looks like the real thing more so than anything else I've seen.. Why did I buy it? The deck is 10 years old still in excellent condition however recently noticed lichen or mildew build up on the surface of Trex decking so I lightly pressure washed it causing slight degradation on the surface of the Trex where the mildew was stubborn to remove, this rubber backed artificial grass material will eliminate build up in the future, will also protect the Trex deck from UV rays damage. Trex is tough stuff however after years of heat, cold, UV rays and rain and build up; dust, mildew I can see where this will extend the product life for years. Don't worry about creases etc. when first laid down, forget about it, in a couple days it will be perfect on its own. ... show more

At 70 years of age I had enough of trying to have the perfect lawn. I had tried everything and nothing worked for me. I decided to try this product on a small portion on my lawn and it worked beautifully. I am now in the process of replacing my entire backyard with this product. I'm not really good at joining the pieces together and sometimes you can see the seam. On youtube they will show you how to install this product without showing any seams. I'm just glad that I have something on my lawn that is beautiful and does not require fertilizing, seeding, watering, or cutting. Give it a try I think you'll like it. ... show more

We used this product to try and acclimate our dog to using our apartment porch (6’ x 6’) for when he has to use the bathroom as opposed to taking him down the stairs and outside. He took right to it after we set it up and as far as I can tell, there’s no indication on his end that he thinks it’s anything other than grass, which was a huge relief. It was simple enough to install. Just level the area, remove any rocks, then roll out and anchor the turf with landscape spikes. It looks very nice. The dog seems to like it as well. I wait until the Florida sun has dried the waste out in the evening, remove it and hose the spots to prevent it from getting smelly. I'm going to install some no-dig landscape border around it to make sure the gravel doesn't get under the turf. ... show more

Looks great under table outside by pool. Seems to be holding up well in the sun and rain. However it gets extremely hot, burning hot. Have to very careful if you don’t have sandals on or have small children. This really should come with a warning. It gets hotter than the pavers on the patio.
