So, we ordered the exact size we needed. It took about two days to install, one for it to just be laid out and sit to remove some of the folds and the next day to install. My husband did it all by himself in one day. It came out fantastic. Yes, it does get a little hot after the sun has been on it, but the dogs love the heat. So far so good. I've only had it for a couple weeks so I can't really speak on the durability but it seems well made and I'm thinking it should hold up well. If it doesn't, I will update in the future. It looks fantastic and feels good on the soles of my feet. I've given this product 5 stars but I would caution that this faux grass does get HOT in the sun, very similar to hot concrete. I expected this as I've purchased faux lawns before so my 5 stars will stay. On that note, this product is the best I've purchased so far. Reasonably easy to clean. Either blow with a leaf blower or sweep with a broom (think sweeping carpet). ... show more

    • Use only in shady area, extremely hot in sun

I have purchased three turfs and very pleased with the product. I used it in a walkway where it is shady but if you expose this turf to sun it gets extremely hot to a dangerous level.

It was simple enough to install. Just level the area, remove any rocks, then roll out and anchor the turf with landscape spikes. It looks very nice. The dog seems to like it as well. I wait until the Florida sun has dried the waste out in the evening, remove it and hose the spots to prevent it from getting smelly. I'm going to install some no-dig landscape border around it to make sure the gravel doesn't get under the turf. ... show more

My biggest complaint is that I ordered 2 rolls at the same time of the same product and the colors are very different making my grass look ridiculously fake. It's way too much of a hassle to return such large and heavy items. The product seems good, but only time will tell about product quality after being out in coastal weather. If you only need one roll I would recommend this turf but if you need more than 1 you risk your yard looking like a giant chess board with the different color symmetrical squares. ... show more
