So far so good with this bad boy. Been hunting out of it every day for a week. Easy to take down and move from spot to spot. Dont have to leave my blind out in the woods to get stolen or damaged anymore. My only suggestion would be to practice a little with drawing your rifle up to the shooting position before going into the woods. Same with sliding and opening the little windows. Spooked one doe about 30 feet away by bumping the sides while she was looking directly at me. I've had herds of 5-10 does walk within 20-30 feet of me so far with no issues at all. Would be nice if the mesh was a little more see-through but its good enough for the value. ... show more

This is a great crossbow blind setup. It is easy to set up and use. I would add that I am a smaller statured person. I am 5"7"" 185lbs. I think a bigger person may feel a little crowded. This blind was great for slipping into the woods and setting up in a hurry. Take your time to brush it into the surrounding environment and you will disappear. I purchased some camo netting and cut it into strips to further break up the outline and add natural leaf litter. ... show more

Husband really likes this. Fits in small areas you want to tuck into. I used once too and it was nice..a little small when yiire used to bigger blinds but it works!

I will start by saying I have hunted out of both models of the ameristep tent chair. I really like this type of setup for whitetail deer. This blind has a good bit more leg room than it’s competitors. The see through mesh and silent windows are a night and day difference from the ameristep tent chair. The ability to lock the rear position bar prevents the blind from dropping low in the front. Even though it’s roomier in use , it’s more compact when carrying it on your back. Like this little blind, fast easy setup light weight. I have not hunted from it yet, but I did practice shooting my crossbow out of it without any problems. You probably won’t be able to shoot a crossbow out of the left and right window. Shooting out the front small window was easy and shooting out the front with the full zipper unzipped was a breeze. ... show more

This would be awesome to observe wildlife but is very limited on space. First challenge is to set crossbow out the front window without making noise and then hope you don’t get busted sticking it out the front. Forget shooting any others direction unless you’re hunting with pistol

    • Don’t buy any other chair blind!
I have had single and double chair blinds from other manufacturers. This is wider, roomier and far more comfortable than the others. This is a real find for a gun hunter that likes to move. Crossbows are useable also.

The AYIN Hunting Chair Blind was a good addition to my hunting gear this year. Although, it wasn’t perfect. First the pros… I like the camouflage and concealment of this blind. It blends in nicely with the Pennsylvania woods. Animals can’t see you, but due to the 270-degree see-through design you have the perfect view of your surroundings. The pop-up feature is incredibly convenient and makes setting this blind up easy to do. You can have this blind setup and ready to go in 2 minutes. I’m 6’0 tall 220lbs and I fit in this blind comfortably. The chair itself is simple, but comfortable to sit in…plus it keeps you off the cold/wet ground. The entire blind SURPRISINGLY goes back into its carrying bag with ease! I was blown away by this. It’s pleasantly compact and lightweight as well. Cons… The blind isn’t waterproof. It seemed to be water resistant, so it’ll keep you initially dry, however if you’re out there in a torrential rainfall or out there for a prolonged period of time then the water will eventually start to make its way in. While there was enough room for me, it feels tight as you discreetly try and position your rifle. Its sturdiness comes from the four legs of the chair, so if you shift, then the whole blind shifts with you which could obviously give away your position. I can’t speak to how durable it is, but do to the lightweight material, I could see it only lasting a couple seasons which is fine considering the price. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a compact, easy to use, blind that keeps you off the ground. ... show more
