I looked for a while for a shelves that would be deep enough for most of my flower pots and these were the closest I found. The brackets aren’t the most amazing at it seemed like they may have been slightly bent making it hard for the shelf to slide on but they were still functional. First off let me say that this is a beautiful shelf, it's just what I was looking for the only downfall is that in the description it says that it comes as a set but when I received it I only received one and on top of that it came with no hardware! Only the wood shelf, but other than that it's a nice shelf, I just can't use it. But Amazon is in the process of replacing it, hopefully this time it comes as a set and with all of the hardware, I will update my review at that time. ... show more

This are pricey, but fairly nice shelves. Probably could have purchased them for about 1/2 of what these cost at Home Depot or the like though. They were fairly easy to install and look nice, however I believe (based on my experience only) that they must have been stained with oil base product and not sealed. I've had them up for 3 weeks and they are still giving me headaches and respiratory problems (and possibly worse in terms of whatever the fumes are being caused by getting into my blood stream). I have been running my air cleaner non stop pretty much, but as soon as the weather cools, I will be sealing them with a water based sealer and hope this will help. Knowing what I know now, I would not purchase these again. Very expensive for what they are and very toxic unfortunately. ... show more

Wood is solid and I like that you can not see the bracket. They were easy to install however the bracket causes the front of the shelf to raise up not keeping the shelf completely level. Meaning the front is a big higher than the back causing my display to sit slightly crooked. You can add a thin shim to the back to correct this issue but the metal rods need to be slightly bent down. ... show more
