The frame looks very good. The opening on the mat is very close to 8x10. This was good because almost nothing was lost from the edges of the picture.

Exactly as described, made with solid, authentic white oak, although apparently manufactured, assembled, and initially shipped from China, as was evident from its sturdy, original packaging in which it arrived at my home (not inside an Amazon box). In spite of this, there was absolutely no damage.
