Right off the bat I'll just say that there is zero break in time with these boots they are very comfortable I brought these with the specific purpose so trying to keep my feet warm I spend a lot of time outside with temps averaging in the 40s these boots performed above expectations I highly recommend this product as for the durability I've only had them for about a month now I haven't done any waterproofing but it doesn't seem that they need any I've used them in the rain in and the snow with no issue cleaning them is just as simple as wiping them off with a cloth. I found these for $20, and that price, they're a steal. Yeah, they're fake leather, but they're pretty decent despite that. If I can get 2 years out of them, I got a really good purchase. At the regular $40, I'd probably pass.

This is my second pair of these type of shoes, from the same brand and manufacturer, they are extremely comfortable and quite warm, but they are not made well and won't last more than a season. There's still worth buying, except for the higher and higher price.
