I bought this because I wanted a natural fiber shower curtain. it came with a tag that says polyester. yet the description says linen. I though maybe the paper was wrong, so I did a burn test on the corner. It melted. I washed the curtain before I hung it. It dried and then I took a shower, the fabric holds a lot of water but it was dry by morning. I noticed a stain either my hard water left a water line or the dye used to color the plastic fibers pooled as it dried. It was a cheap enough curtain so I will use it for a while. thankfully I bought 2 so the water doesn't escape the shower. I'm sure it would if I didn't have the second layer. The linen color is beautiful, but there's a strong waxy texture to the curtain. I'm sure this is intended to help with water resistance, but it's impossible to get the folds/wrinkles out of the curtain. I've tried washing it in hot water, steaming it with a hand steamer, showering, etc. *I didn't put it in my dryer for fear that the waxiness would ruin the other clothes/dryer barrel.
