This has the highest storage capacity for the price range without resorting to replacing the internal harddrive. It runs as quiet as the playstation, and in sleep mode, makes no sound at all. Not compatible with older models though, and I still haven't heard back from tech support about any updates that may make it so. My son has a jet black edition, and it works perfect. Being on a stand makes it easy to place anywhere, and it's got more memory than he'll be able to use. I bought for extended storage on my PS5, works well. It's just a bit bulky and needs to be plugged in for power. Unlike other external storage that just plugs in and powers this one is bigger and needs its own power.
