My first impressions are pretty good but not spectular. I'm pretty much in agreement with the apparent consensus that you should order a half size up from your usual size, in my case 9 1/2, which I did. But I'm tempted to order a pair in my usual size for comparison. Especially since my impression of the pair I have is before they're broken in. At any rate, these are comfortable shoes and reasobably priced. I plan to use them for pickleball and walking for exercise, possibly a bit of running. The main negative I have is that the eyelets for the laces are very small holes punched into the upper, and it is pretty difficult to tug on the laces to adjust the tightness.     • Poor design of an otherwise good shoe!

Once you get them on these shoes fit just great and were very comfortable. However getting them on is a real problem. The way they are made the tongue of the shoe is way too short and the opening width is too narrow. You end up struggling quite a lot just to get them on which is a critical problem for an elderly person like myself. It is quite taxing and painful just to get the shoes on. I have never in my life encountered a shoe that had a tongue that short. At the same time I purchased a pair of New Balance shoes which fit perfectly but unlike these shoes the tongue is a decent length and the width of the opening sufficient, so when you put them on it makes it very easy. All I can figure is they made the tongue so short to save money on materials or perhaps they did not adjust for the shoe size as I wear a size 15 shoe. The tongue length might be OK for a size 9 or 10 but is definitely too short so you can't get your foot into the shoe without stuffing the tongue into it. Quite a struggle trying to get your foot in and have the tongue still out enough you can pull it a bit more to complete your fit. If you have larger feet and have trouble putting shoes on due to physical condition I would advise passing on these and perhaps go for the New Balance. Doesn't tell you when reviewing what date purchased. I'm going to guess 6 months. Fit very good. I'm 10 x wide. Just starting to shop to replace. Working out 2 1/2-3 hours 7 days. Sole starting to break down and get soft. Until recently was stiffer good traction. Insoles were comfortable for about 90 days. We're a bear to get out and replace. Probably weren't supposed to replace but I wreck the toe area they start to break down and curl up. That's all shoes not just sneakers. Coaches make you run on balls of your feet guess it never went away. May get same ones. At least they fit. New balance x wide is no longer x wide just wide tried a few of those. Skechers soles wide enough but toe box small. ... show more

This is my second pair. When I ordered my first pair, I read the reviews. I noticed that quite a few people stated that what they ordered was too small. Quite a few of the reviews stated to "order one size larger." I did this and when I got my first pair, they fit perfect. So after wearing these for 2600 miles, I just recently ordered another pair...the same size as I did the last time...and these new shoes are TOO BIG! I guess since colder weather will soon be here, I'll just wear them with thicker socks. Please note: I'm tall, 6'2", so most tall guys can have one foot that is a half size or so larger than their other foot. My longer foot is about a 13, so I ordered a 14 the first time and as I said, they fit great. Going by what I recently received, I could have gotten by with just ordering some size 13 shoes. ... show more
