This dress was adorable and everything we wanted. However we got a size 14 and my daughter is 11 and wears 10-12 sizes (target) and this way tiny, way too snug. I would say better fits an 8/9 year old. My kiddo is tall and skinny too and this was tight tight.

The reviews were correct that the dress runs small. My daughters usually wear a size 6 and 8; I ordered sizes 10 and 14 and they fit perfectly. The material does feel cheap but is appropriate for the price tag. My younger daughter’s turquoise dress arrived in good condition. My older daughter’s red dress arrived with a stuck zipper that would not budge. I contacted Amazon and got a replacement. The replacement came with loose threading and a button that was hanging off and even appeared as though someone else tried to sew it back together. Another replacement wasn’t an option so I had to go through the process of returning it again. Ordered a 3rd red one and it finally came in decent wearable condition. ... show more

The dress is very pretty, and my daughter was thrilled when she saw it. Unfortunately the quality of the dress is absolutely terrible, which is why I am only rating it as 1 star. When the dress arrived I could immediately tell it was poor quality. The pieces that are sewn on the front were already ripping away from the fabric and the fabric had larger than normal holes in it where the thread had gone through it. Not a huge deal, but obviously noticeable. After my daughter wore this dress today to school for 6 hours, it's now torn in multiple places. There are large rips and holes on both sides of it, the snaps are starting to pull off, the collar in front is torn, and random threads are coming off the fabric. The dress will not be able to be worn unless it is repaired. Also, I ordered a size 16. My daughter wears a size 10-10/12. The size 16 barely fit her...this dress runs incredibly small. Overall I'm very disappointed with this purchase. I understand you get what you pay for, but I was hoping we would get at least a couple of wears out of it. ... show more

My kindergartener wore this to school for a day and by the time she came home, teacher had to duck tape from inside cuz the "button" was glued on and fell apart half way through the day. Also, I had to buy size 14 to fit my kid, who wears size 8 for being age 6. Size 12 was too snug and the smaller size won't even fit. It is very cute but cheaply made. ... show more
