My fog-lights were extremely dim before and they're supposed to help give more light when needed. ..I also wanted to get rid of that old, ugly, yellow/orangish color. I came across Auxlight products and their build quality seemed to be excellent, their prices were great and they claimed to be extra bright LED's. OMG!!! What a difference!!!!!!! They installed just like the stock bulbs and again were built very well. The new Auxlite LED fit exactly like the old ones did before. Before, I barely saw any light from my fog-lights, a few inches on each side of my car; Now when I turn my fog-lights on I can see them shining light 50 feet in front of me, 30 feet to each side and lighting up everything on both sides of the road. If you're looking to change the color of your lights from that old dim orange to a bright, beautiful white -or any other color.. if you need more light output so you can see the road; you need to buy these LED's. I switched out the headlights on my Forester and decided to use these in the driving lights to keep the LED theme. Much brighter than stock and the color (6000k) Matched the headlights perfectly. I did need a resistor, but that's more of an issue with the car than the lights. Came back to order a backup pair and a pair for my ATV as well. ... show more

Easy to install, and great brightness. However, this is a 2 sided LED bulb, so the light casing is likely to deflect, and hence project the light forward in two beams (at least they do in my KC Hilites). Not a deal breaker, but the 4 sided LEDs have a more even projection pattern. Would still recommend. ... show more

These do not fit the typical H3 retaining system despite being labeled specifically for H3s. They will not work with Hella H3 lamps, KC H3 lamps, and many other off road lighting products that use H3s. I would check if your system has the typical H3 folding latch design and if it does, do not purchase these. They cylindrical bottom half and "straight out the bottom" wire placement will prevent you from installing these. ... show more

These work. Nice use to switch to LED good color match to 6000 Bright white LED or HID.. These throw OK light, but not impressive in that regard. And its totally cosmetic. As good as the original halogens, and in fact cooler. These color match well, but yellow LED's actually work better in fog. If you are just trying to get a nice look, go for it. If you actually drive in real thick fog a lot, I would recommend yellow LED lights instead. ... show more

Great led bulbs. I picked up the amber color. Now just a heads up, I have the lamin-x amber lens film on there. What I didn’t like about the oem, is that through the laminx I had a white hot spot. With these new amber bulbs, my fog light glow orange really evenly. The bulbs are well made. I have other bulbs from the same company & they are all high quality. Especially for the price. Install is standard. Just a bulb swap. Light output is good. I will say that the laminx made my fogs dimmer than before, & these bulbs helped make them a bit brighter. Not nearly back to clear brightness. It hasn’t been foggy at all, so I can’t say how they perform in actual fog. I like the amber color, I did look at them outside of the light housing & they have a good equal color between the bulbs. More yellow than orange, but that’s also because they’re very bright. ... show more
