72 hours since purchase...longevity review to come in some time. First impression - feels solid. Compared the base of the original halogen with the base/orientation of these bulbs and they were spot on. Did a before/after with beam pattern and nothing changed when installing these bulbs and I got no warnings on the dash. The heat sink and fan feel nice and it locked into the headlamp assembly just fine. Turn the headlights on and you can hear the fans spin up - they are not overly loud but when you stand in front of the vehicle you can definitely hear a little more than a faint fan noise coming from it. So the only issue I see so far is if the fan fails will the bulb overheat and take out the assembly? ... show more

I bought these because my headlight lenses are tinted and the stock halogen bulbs were pretty dim on my 2015 Cadillac ATS. These work to perfection. I swear my headlights are brighter now with tinted lenses than it was before with halogens and clear lenses. These were also simple to install. Definitely recommend ... show more

Longevity concerns—Unfortunately the driver light stopped working after 18 months. Not sure of the warranty process but wish it could get replaced under warranty.

2015 GMC 2500hd Sierra. The OEM fixtures themselves are crap, but this is the best improvement you can make without going to the big-money aftermarket fixtures. Definitely brighter and whiter. Improved side broadcast, in-fill and distance. Anyone who says they are not bright enough is forgetting what you oncoming traffic friends are saying (@$$h0|#). On my vehicle there isn’t a lot of information available. You only need a flat and Phillips screwdrivers: DRIVERS SIDE (This is the simple side) 1. Twist off the 3” headlight fixture dust cover from inside the engine compartment. 2. Remove the snap-on wire connector from the back of the old bulb. 3. Twist the old bulb about 45degrees counter-clockwise and carefully pull the bulb out. Don’t touch the bulb. Keep the bulb as a back-up, just in case….. 4. When inserting the new element, there is a tiny set screw between the mounting collar and the cooling fan. Loosen it slightly and rotate the element base about 40 degrees counter-clockwise (as viewed from the rear>front). This will position the element in the vertical position after you rotate the bulb to lock it in place. Make sure you don’t allow the mounting collar to slide up when loosening the screw as this will change the focus position of the bulb. To confirm the element is vertical after it is locked in place the two tiny set screws on the fan at the rear will be level. If they are not level then the filament is not vertical and you will have to take out the bulb, loosen the set screw and rotate it whichever way necessary. PASSENGER SIDE 1. Remove air intake elbow between air box and intake manifold. 2. Disconnect the two electrical connectors on air filter box. 3. Take out two screws at top of air filter box and remove top half of air filter box. 4. Take out air filter (good time to replace it). (Amazon: Wix $25 – O’Rilley: Wix $45) 5. The bottom half of air box is pressed into a metal base plate. Pull up the corners nearest the engine, one corner at a time until each pops out (they are just pressed in). Then you can slide the box about an inch towards the engine which releases the other keeper on the bottom which is closer to the fender side. Twist and roll the box out. It’s a pain in the ass. Look at the bottom of the box and the base plate to see what you are going to need to do when you replace the box. 6. There is a rubber flap behind the light fixture. Pull the top two plastic push-in pins out (leave it with the rubber flap) and let it flop into where the air box was. I used needle-nose pliers to straddle the sides of each push-pin to work them out side-for-side. Woa-lah; the removable cover, and the rest is done like the driver’s side from here out.
