I put these bulbs in my NB1 Miata and WOW! what a difference from stock halogen. seriously i've never had a more inadequate set of halogen headlight bulbs than what came in the Miata. I have seen candles put off more light than what my headlights produced. the high beams worked decently but low beams were worse than the free harbor freight giveaway "work" lights. a cell phone flashlight from the 2000's was brighter than my halogen headlamps in the Miata. I was worried at first on just LED headlight bulbs being able to help but they truly did. These bulb are a life saver. I can now see at night. The most important thing is the beam light pattern, these LED's do a great job at mimicking the stock halogen beam pattern by making it brighter and not blinding on coming traffic. The other important factor is make sure the LED chipsets (H4 bulbs) are installed in the 3 - 9 o'clock position to get this duplicate beam pattern. I put one in and then i put the other in and noticed i had a weird wide V shape to the beam pattern compared to the other bulb. found out this bulb was installed 180 degrees out. a simple remove and turn upside fixed this and i had 2 OE matching sets of LED beam patterns. These are bright. I know pictures dont really do justice, but i will show them anyways. all of these images were of the low beam pattern. First will be the stock headlamp photo, and for anyone wanting to compare F2(passenger) vs stock(driver) here is your next photo. The 3rd photo is the same setup F2(right) vs OE(left) from out the windshield. in addition to this 3rd photo you can see i actually had the LED in upside down which gave me that weird beam pattern. You can see how much brighter of a difference of the F2 LED's are brighter wise. The last photo is showing the F2 in the (passenger) headlamp housing and installed in the correct orientation. In closing I will say the fans are quite loud in the F2's but they need to extract the heat. I hope they last a long time. Form factor is nice and small. fitting the rubber dust boots back onto the headlamp housings was rather easy compared to other model LED bulbs. Could have made the tabs fit a lot better. Had to trim a little to install on my fog light housing. The tabs were a little thick which are hard to install.

I replaced my factory fog lights with these and I'm enjoying them. I don't even need to use my headlights with these in. They're brighter than my hid lights so I'm just using my DRL's and these lights.
