I bought these lights because my wife and I needed headlamps that light up the sides of the road as well as the road ahead. We live in a rural area with large deer populations and lots of trees and corn fields that grow up to the shoulder of the road. We hit several deer over the years because the deer run out onto the road and you have very little time to stop. These lights give us improved penetration in the dark that give us an extra moment to hit the brakes and hopefully avoid a collision. ... show more

    • Good lights. Bright with new modern car look, but had some install difficulties

I didn't fill our longevity because I've only had them for a couple of months. Updated the lights to my 2008 Sierra 1500 SLE and it gave my truck a more modern look from halogen bulbs and also they were brighter. The old bulbs were the Sylvania Ultra XE bulbs that were almost $100. (the name might be wrong but they were the most expensive halogens that Sylvania sells). The only issue with these LED bulbs were that the mounting tabs were smaller than stock. So it made it difficult to get the bulbs locked in straight. So about 15minutes longer that it should have taken, I finally got them in the correct position and locked in. So far, so good. ... show more

    • Very bright, easy to install, but with a very fast “flicker”

These are a dream replacement for the usual 9006 bulbs – they slot right in and you don’t need to be QUITE as careful with them as with the usual halogens. They are very bright. My only beef is that there’s a very fast flicker that is noticeable and potentially annoying to other motorists. I’ve contacted the manufacturer and we will see what they have to say about it. ... show more

Product works great. I have the installed in my Hi-beam headlights. Plenty bright for driving at night when extra light is needed. The color match to my factory led low beams is pretty close. I’d say they are worth every penny
