First, this is not a soft and cozy type of shirt, it's pretty stiff, yet it's soft on the outside. Definitely made to wear over another shirt. Second, it runs large, so keep that in mind when buying. Just depends on the look that you are going for. I use mine as a casual jacket on cool Louisiana days. Love these shirts.! So comfy, warm but not too warm. Wear around the house during the day over a tee shirt, wear as a jacket on warmer days. Wash well, some pilling but that's to be expected, gives the shirt more character. I bought mediums, to hang down, I normally wear a small shirt.
