Great side zipper held perfectly even though my 19” calves are too wide to close the zipper all the way up. (This will change.) The straps across the top at the ankle are not attached when you open the zip-lock package, so you might miss them (mine are all black); they fasten easily and the snaps hold well. I wore them over heavy socks and slide-on slippers. So I put the slippers inside first, then fitted my feet into the slippers. These over-boots were a godsend for me two days after they arrived, when we had a fierce snow/ice storm and I had a foot-doctor appointment. Had to walk a few blocks and get in and out of a car. They look clunky on me but they work so well. And when dry and folded over, they fit neatly into their zip-lock bag (opaque on one side - great for IDing with a Sharpie), clear on the other); makes storage neat and they’re easy to find. Are they a super thick durable material (like rubber rain boots) that can be worn on rough terrain during long extended hikes? Absolutely Not! This is a thin semi-fragile material (like a cheap raincoat) that will tear if you pull too hard on it, with soles not suitable for rough terrain. Am I happy with these and do they serve my purposes? ABSOLUTELY YES! I just wanted some light shoe covers to slip on when walking my dog in rain-wet climates and these Absolutely fit the bill. If, like me, you are tired of ruining your shoes with soggy water and mud during walks in the rain-these are the shoe covers for you. After a walk i just use my garden hose to rinse away the mud and debris-and i can remove them and still have my regular shoes inside completely dry and debris free. I ordered a size larger to make sure all my shoes would fit. Ruined, wet, dirty, muddy shoes during dog walks in inclement weather is now a thing of the past. Love these shoe covers! ... show more

I bought these at the last minute to handle heavy rains forecasted for Los Angeles while going to Disneyland. I didn’t want to take my bulky rain boots on the airplane or in my suitcase. Good idea, but poor quality. After wearing once on a 1 1/2 hour walk while on vacation the shoe covers developed tears along seams in the front. I tried patching them with duct tape, so in the image the tears appear white. Obviously, these were NOT waterproof!

Size 14 shoe you just can't pick water protection right off the shelf, so having my size was a plus. Very lite, repels water and mud, easy to clean, and stores like paper. Minus, the soles are very thin. When you step on something rough, or sharp, the soles get cut.

Bought these because I have vines I need to cut back and there are red ants every hopefully this is my solution. Haven’t tried yet but fit over pants and snap at top. I wear a woman’s 8 1/2 shoe the sole is a little large but should not be a problem
