There is a reason they didn't show a photo of the folded up product - it would show how thin they are! I bought this hoping that I could put them on and wade a few inches into the water while launching my kayak, but I am very doubtful that they will hold up to a single rock or scrape of any kind. If you are only using them on pavement or smooth ground, they might do OK for a little while, but the material is essentially the thickness and composition of a semi-disposable rain poncho or cheap air mattress - and if you have ever used one of those ponchos, you know they tear very easily. The bottoms are a bit thicker, but I had no idea from their photos just how thin they were - and I would not expect them to do well on rocks or anything sharp - they will puncture and tear right away. I will keep them until I find something better, and then throw them away, but next time, the upper material needs to be made of nylon or some sort of cloth, vs. beach ball or floaty air mattress material! I guess if your objective is to travel with them so you can walk through mud puddles on a paved street, then they might work for that, but I would not use them for biking, kayaking or walking on a trail - even light duty forms of any of those. As for the claims that they are "fashionable" - I just think that is funny... ... show more

My husband needed these to protect his shoes while spraying down buildings with pressure washers. They lasted 2 days. They ripped at the seams and he still ended up with wet shoes. Never again.

I had to return my first pair of XL because they wouldn't fit my size 10 riding boot. Return process with Amazon was seamless - very appreciated. I then ordered the XXL size and they fit my riding boot with a little room to spare. I don't see a set that would fit size 11 and up. Then need to manufacture XXXL for size 12. Looks to be a good product for keeping my boots dry in a heavy Hawaiian rain while riding my Harley. ... show more

I purchased these for riding a motorcycle in the rain, and for THAT use they're GREAT! Sure they're thin material and have a thin rubber sole that's lightly treaded for LIGHT walking, but they're $16.00 people!! They cannot be worn on extended walks on sidewalks OR trails, they're just not that durable; but for keeping for feet dry with other protective rain gear on a motorcycle where your feet are mostly stationary and are only on the ground when stopped at lights or to get gas then they're GREAT! Will they last a long time? Depends on how they're used, but if used as described above, they should last several trips. I'm ordering another pair to replace this pair when worn out and to keep in my saddlebag with my rain gear when needed. In summary, GREAT value for the money if their use is kept LIGHT for the material is thin, but worth they're asking price! ... show more

First time I wore them out side a stim tore a hole in the side not great for out in the yard just for like going to and from car or job. They work great all but the rip in the side now. They are really thin plastic.
