If you are a carpenter by trade and whether you do doors or not this is a very handy, sturdy item and once you have used it immediately it is a must have and you are hooked on it!

This thing is pretty expensive so it took a while before I decided to get it. I was taught how to make the old wood version which I have in my shop but they are a temporary solution. I can see this one being passed on to the next generation and beyond. Fairly easy to use but you have to be balanced enough to push the lever down with 1 foot while holding a hundred pound door. I can still do this at 62 but I have some workers that probably can't. Overall a brilliant design and I recommend this for every good carpenter. ... show more
