I am changing toward veggies diet so I need lot and lot of seitan, bread and pasta. That means a lot of kneading. Kneading shows true power of the any mixer. I bought the Halmilton Beach originally but disliked the C kneading hook and small 4 quart bowl. The Aucma does not cost that much more but has 6.5 quarts bowl, high power and S kneading hook. Well since I got this in less than a week I had made many seitan, Chinese noodle which require a lot of kneading and some mixing. Works great except one thing. The kneading hook does not have the round plate near attachment. That means flour travels up there and makes a mess which requires cleaning. My solution is to make a smaller dough and that seems to solve the issue. What more do you need if you only care about kneading, mixing and stirring which this mixer can do easily as good as the more expensive Kitchen Aid? In my case i need to make pasta and Chinese noodles. My solution is to buy the hand crank pasta maker which i did. Nothing beats home made pasta and noodle. So cheap and easy to make with the mixer and the pasta maker!!!!! Everyone wants the Kitchen Aid which is heavy and pricey. Sure it is a standard that other mixers follows. I can buy 3 other mixers for one Kitchen Aid which work just fine for my need and I am a heavy user. The majority of people out there is not heavy user. If you care to show off then buy the Kitchen Aid. If you care about practicality, affordability and sensible this Aucma serves well. Works for me. It is a keeper. Longevity is not an issue because i can buy 3 Aucma for one K.Aid. At the beginning I was struggling to decide but with Amazon great return policy why not try out then find out. My main intention to buy the mixer is that i do not want to knead flour by hand and i know if it works great for kneading then everything else is a piece of cake for the mixer. Kneading puts a lot of stress on the mixer. It requires power, good S kneading hook and quality machine to run. I see those with the Aucma so this works for me. This is really a great mixer, especially for beginners - good power, price, and performance. My usage is limited to mixing bread dough - used level 4 on the dial without issues, dough hook and mixing bowl super easy to clean. Suction cups are really good and needed for this type of mixer - vibrations are no different than those of similar power from other brands (watched a few online videos to validate). ... show more

I bought this for bread making because I just can't knead dough the way I use to, lol. With limited counter space I needed something more lightweight so I can easily move it (kitchenaids are way too heavy), the body of this is actually molded plastic. The machine has suction cups on the bottom which works very well holding the machine in place while it is running and the machine works very well. Dough making has been made easy! :) ... show more

My previous mixer was that big name that everyone knows. Unfortunately it just wasn't a good time to spend $400 on a new mixer so I bought this after reading all the reviews several times. So far I'm pleasantly surprised! My thoughts after using it about once-per-week for 3 months. PROS: Cost: Obviously much cheaper than "the big name in mixers". Weight: It's very light weight but the suction cups hold it in place even on the highest settings. Noise: As quiet as you can expect a mixer to be Effective: Seems to get right to the edge of the bowl for the most part. Cleaning: Not many crevices so cleaning is quick and easy, I do HAND WASH the mixing attachments though. The bowl I just toss in the dish washer. UNDECIDED: Durability: So far it seems to be holding up great, but the speed-dial and release mechanism do feel a little "light duty" to me. That said, I tend to be a little gently when raising the mixing head. OVERALL: Overall very happy with it. So far it's been a good cost-effective alternative to "the big name in mixers" and far better than the garbage that Target sells in their appliance line. This seems to be one of the best (if not ONLY) option for a mid-range mixer that I was able to find easily. ... show more

I absolutely love the colors and the functions on this! It has suction cups on the bottom of the mixer so it can stay put on the counter. It's extremely easy to use and clean and has 3 attachments. So I just got this mixer. I got the baby blue. It’s a really good mixer. Has a strong mixer and motor, I have used kitchen aid mixers in cooking class in high school. I noticed that many of the reviews of this mixed were about the noise being too loud. I guess let me present you with a different perspective. This mixer is between $130-170 (mine was $130). Comes with the same 3 METAL attachments same as a kitchen aid mixer, has more power (kitchen aid watts: 250-575 watts), and has a larger bowl size than the #1 best selling kitchen aid mixer (ie that most purchased kitchen aid mixer), and come with a stainless steels bowl like the kitchen aid mixers, more compact, and is lighter weight than a kitchen aid still sturdy but just lighter. I would agree that it is louder than a kitchen aid near it max speed. It’s had less levels of mixing, kitchen aid 10 variable speeds this has 6. As you can see I was feeling pressured to by a kitchen aid mixer because it’s the quintessential mixer that our grandmas and moms used, but with the very few negatives I pointed out I paid $130 and the kitchen aid with a comparable bowl size is $449, the noise level and lack of speed levels isn’t worth paying an additional $339. I feel like that insane price is mostly marketing and “brand name”. In my opinion don’t fall for it. I feel like I got my money’s worth. Im very happy with it. ... show more

Love this mixer more than my kitchenaid! Easier to clean. Lighter to move but still stable. The bowl cover is much more effective as it's easy to attach a secure. Great bargain.
