I purchased these with the intention of using them for securing extension cords, drip irrigation lines, etc. But I would not buy these again, for the following reasons: 1) They are like Velcro, but the "hooks-and-loops are extremely small and get clogged easily, rendering them useless for fastening. 2) More significantly... they are constructed from two flat pieces that are laminated together - the "hooks" on one side and the "loops" on the other side. Unfortunately, the lamination doesn't last - the hook side comes apart from the loop side, leaving you with two useless sections. I thought it was harsh outdoor conditions causing the separation, but fasteners that have been used exclusively indoors are coming apart the same way. They worked good right out of the box, but in this buyer's opinion, the "reusable" factor is questionable. I'd probably spend a little more and go with the brand name. ... show more

Just tonight I tried to use these and was a bit disappointed. They shipped quick and I thought great, put them in the drawer without looking for them. Tonight I pulled them out to use to tidy up some wires at my work station. These are poorly put together. Almost half of them are glued together or the two parts are seperated so that they won't stick together to hold. That was very disappointing because they aren't cheap and long enough to have been really useful. Update: I originally selected 2 stars, and wrote the first half of the review. I didn't contact the seller, however they saw my review and contacted me via email. It was a very nice none obtrusive email and stated this was not normal and that they were sorry I wasn't happy with the purchase. They then offered a discount or code to allow me to reorder so I could be a satisfied customer. That is how customer service should be. I haven't reordered at this time, but will. Guessing I won't have the same issue. I change my opinion based solely on the response of the seller and would recommend for future purchases. Thank you Attmu Group. ... show more

Update again: as time keeps on slipping, I from more and more annoyed with these. 99% of them are delaminated, even the ones I have never use that are SITTING IN MY INDOOR, CLIMATE CONTROLLED WORKSHOP! Seriously! This is terrible. I know it's only a couple bucks, but on principle and the major inconvenience requiring me to jog my entire inventory to find and replace ALL of these wraps... Yeah no. I would give this a 0/5 if I could. Update: a great many of my cable ties are starting to delaminate! :( The adhesive seems to fail quickly at moderate temps, and it goes fail completely. I have a LOT of these that the white/translucent hook side has completely separated from the fabric side after being stored in my vehicle for a few days. This is very disappointing. I do not know if these results are typical or I just received a bad batch. Buyer beware! These are relatively good. Straightforward, not much different than others in the category. They use a newer low profile type of hook-loop that's a bit more durable and less bulky while retaining a solid bond. I would have given them five stars, but I noticed several of them seem to delaminate a bit if they're pulled in a certain way. The adhesive used between the hook substrate and the loop backing isn't perfect. These may deteriorate in an unexpected way over time due to this issue. Overall, they're good. Price is fair, colors are nice but unimportant. Recommended, but keep an eye on the adhesive between layers. You may notice a translucent air bubble form when the two separate, and they re-bind with light pressure. I think you'd have to intentionally separate the layers to really break one, but that doesn't make it impossible to fail. ... show more

Very low quality. These are made from what seems like 2 sheets. One sheet is is the plastic hooks, the other sheet is the velcro, and then they're glued together and cut into the product. The problem is the glue isn't strong enough. When two cables that have these on them come into contact, the any exposed hooks/loops tie grab onto eachother. And when you grab the cable you want to pry them apart, the hooks on one tie will separate from the backing. Leaving one of the ties useless. Yay. If you're just cleaning up underneath a desk, they're great. But I wouldn't consider these reusable. ... show more

I bought these for my reptile lighting (lamps). I needed to be able to secure the lamp and cords to lamp stands. I initially thought I had scored a great deal. I was looking for something cheaper than the Velcro brand because I needed about 20 strips. With first use, they did work well and secured just fine. However, the problem occurs when you have to take off them off to re-position, move etc. The strips literally fall apart and separate, they are no longer usable. I was hoping to use the leftover strips to bind up the loose cords in my "junk drawer" but I'm going to be returning them instead. To think they have a lifetime warranty and they don't even last past one use. ... show more

I have been using these for several months. Initially they performed very well, exactly as expected. However, now I am finding that some have started separating front from the back- that is, each strap is actually two pieces glued together. The glue apparently has weakened and then you either can't remove the strap properly or reuse it. This appears to be true for those put in use as well as those still unused. When I go to pull off a new one, sometimes it comes off in two pieced, the top separating from the bottom. You can see that on a new one directly from the package in the attached picture. Separation is highlighted by the red arrow. Because of this issue I would not recommend purchasing them. ... show more
