  • Easy DIY/Glitches/Great sound
I liked the fairly easy install, love the sound (esp. w/new woofer), but the MFr glitches. If I'm listening to online music and get a phone call, the music app glitches on hangup. I have to close then reload the whole music app after every call. Also, after less than a year of reliable service, it gave me a static screen for about 15 minutes before it began a long series of auto-reload and self-check loops. Sometimes I can listen for the 20 minute drive home from work, sometimes not. It can loop for the better part of an hour, give a minute or two of music, then get loopy again. This has been the norm for about a month or more. To be fair, it could be a loose wire, but it doesn't happen during bumpy rides in my Wrangler any more often than normal. Well, now I've just confused everyone. It's a great system when it's working, I guess. You decide. ... show more

  • You Get a LOT of Functionality for Only 20 Bucks!
Wow! I recently installed an ATOTO A6 A6Y2710s stereo in my car. While going through the manual for the stereo, I found this Bluetooth OBDII Scan Tool as an option. They were only around $20 USD on Amazon so I bought one just to see what it would do. Installation only took a few minutes. I plugged it into the OBDII port in my car and paired it to Bluetooth #2 on my ATOTO A6 stereo. Then on my stereo, I downloaded the Torque Pro app for $4.95 from the Google app on my stereo. The hardest part was the download even with a strong wifi signal going to the stereo. I had to reboot my stereo to get it to complete the download. But once it did, THIS THING IS AMAZING! Not only do you get a full set of real-time gauges, but the app can also calculate 1/4 mile run times and horsepower. Basically, for the price of this little scan tool and the Torque Pro app (about $25 total), you get ALL the functionality of a $100 Autogauge, a $50 OBDII trouble code scanner and a $200 DPIC gauge. That's what I call a huge bargain! So if you have an ATOTO A6 or M4 stereo, you really should get this OBDII scan tool and the Torque Pro app. It's a great value. I'm still floored at everything this equipment will do. ... show more

  • Works with ATOTO A6 but can work in other vehicles, too, using your phone with bluetooth.
I bought this for my ATOTO A6 radio. I leave it plugged in at all times. Great value for the money. It reads the check engine codes and even looks them up on the internet for you. When you load the TORQUE app, it takes about 30 seconds before it starts reading the car's computer, but then it streams all data live in real time. It also displays all of the engine stats live. Such as MPH, Fuel level, MPG, RPM, you can customize what to show and how to display it. The adapter even works with your phone via bluetooth, so you can use it on your other cars, if needed. It reads hundreds of stats - you will never use all of the features that it has, but it is great that it has them all. There are even displays that save your maximum and minimum readings and you can set warning alarms. In case you are watching the engine temp or just timing your best 0 to 60. ... show more

  • Very helpful and well priced.
I paired this up to my atoto a6 and works really nicely. I also used it to confirm my car was ready for smog (cat ready) after replacing my catalytic converter to save time from additional drive cycles. Only downside is it can only be paired with one device at a time so if switching between vehicles be prepared to tell your mobile device to forget the obd ii and repair. Other than that I really like having the detail. Used in pair with torque pro and torque pro free version. I do not leave this plugged I. When not in use so cannot speak to battery drain. ... show more

  • You need this!!
This thing tells you ALL KINDS of information about your car. Not only the miles you travel but also the fuel efficiency, and a bunch of other stuff, but most importantly, ERRORS. No more going "oh no, the light is on.. better take it to the shop.." lol no!! Just read the error codes! Saves you so much time and stress. You know what's wrong the second you press the button - no need to go to a shop. ... show more

  • Great and easy to use!!!
Simple and easy to use!! Works every time, and the s8 is much more convenient to quickly clear codes. It must be unplugged when not in use, but it is much easier to plug this into the obd2 port and use the s8 than it is to dig out my code reader with long cable and then return my code reader to storage case. ... show more

  • Well worth the money. Be nice to have a dvd
Really like this radio even though I havent figured out all the functions yet. I have both the dashcam and backup on mine as well as the obd2 reader. Only thing I would change is so that you could use the GPS antenna for satellite radio. Install was fairly simple but time consuming. Really like the fact you can download any android app you like from the play store. ... show more
