I purchased these for a planned trip where my feet would be getting wet a lot. I normally wear a size 9.5, but these only come in whole sizes. According to directions, they say to purchase the smaller size, so I went with a 9. Overall, that size works fine, but doing a lot of walking, and my big toe starts to hurt due to rubbing on the top of the toe. If you wear them in sand, they will fill up quickly and you will need to dump the sand out just like regular shoes or sandals. And yes, the inserts come out when you wear them for an extended period of time and take them off. I think these outdoor hiking sandals are the equal of the more expensive brands. They fit well and are well made. I bought a second pair, different color, I liked them that much.

    • Pleasantly price, adjustable, versatile
I needed a pair of safe shoes to wear hiking in the woods immediately. I thought the army green color and style could be worn by a femine woman like myself. I ordered two sizes down from a ladies size. I did wear no show half-peds. The adjustable strap worked well and I was able to walk over rocks and terrain without slipping. The value has exceeded the price. I eventually expect to need a more costly all-weather hiking/trekking shoe but these will work well for the summer. I am rating 5 stars for safety and value based for easier trail hiking and beach terrain. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great airflow, easy to slip o , and good grip. Good for hiking, biking, and beach sand. Only negative is wear and tear on the rubber stitching.

These were heavily marked down to $10. They aren't as supportive or weighty as Teva ot Keen which I wear as every day treads. I hope they hold up as well though I'm doubtful. They are very sleek and form fitting, a nice look, and fitment is accurate, though widths would've been nice. Can't complain for the price. ... show more
