This is the best deal for the best quality. I hike rugged, long distances and backpack for up to two weeks nonstop so quality is imperative for me. I have Tevas and Chacos for hiking and backpacking in the warm weather and just bought these as a short, easy hike option and backup. I’ve worn these more than my other, $100+ pairs of water sandals/shoes these year. I am considering buying another pair of these. They are comfortable and very heavy duty and the color I have (black) look very sleek, way more stylish than I expected. I am female but wear many men’s shoes because I am a women’s 11. I have a hard time finding nice looking shoes that fit in my size. These are an awesome find. They slip on and off very easy so if you are looking for a more secure fit size down. The sturdiness is incredible but be aware of limited flexibility, they are very stiff. I like the style and color. You be your own judge on how walking in Keen-style shoes affect you. I find for longer walking times there eventually is less comfort than any shoe which has more cushioning and while using socks. Cushioning is fine though. Good price, value, durability etc. I don't heavily use them though so can't vouch for more rigorous longer hikes etc. Grip is good. Drainage and cleaning are solid. Comfort is what it is, no big plus or minus on arch support, cushioning is fine but if you want something very soft or supportive for heel pain or plantar fasciitis then maybe there are better options. ... show more

I wear these everywhere! I have several colors. They are so durable, very high quality. Compared to other hiking sandals, the price is awesome! I still have my first pair from 4 years ago and I continue to use them for hiking, walks or mowing the lawn.

I've owned these for about a year-and-a-half and can provide credible feedback on these sandals. I recently traveled to Hawaii for 10 days and brought these as my ONLY footwear. They are barely marginal for everyday wear like that because I found my feet to get sweaty on the top where the manmade materials contact the skin. There isn't as much ventilation here as I would prefer. That's my main complaint and source of discomfort. For the price, though, they are an attractive deal compared to the leather Teva sandals they replaced. Comfort-wise, those Tevas were luxurious compared to these no-brand Atika sandals. I can see separation on the toe cap already on these Atika sandals after a year while I wore those leather Tevas for probably close to 8 years before they came apart. And that was with significant exposure to fresh and saltwater. The sole of these sandals is pretty good. I hiked to the top of Diamondhead with these and did not end up with sore feet. Not wildly disappointed with these Atika sandals, but when these fall apart, my next pair of hiking sandals will be leather Teva. The higher price is worth the comfort of the non-sweaty material. ... show more

I had some Keen H2s that didn't live up to expectations for durability. After several issues with keen footwear I've written them off. However they were comfortable. I was worried about these not meeting expectations but after wearing them all day today for hiking and canoeing. They were comfortable and had good traction. Follow the recommendation from amazon. I purchased these for a planned trip where my feet would be getting wet a lot. I normally wear a size 9.5, but these only come in whole sizes. According to directions, they say to purchase the smaller size, so I went with a 9. Overall, that size works fine, but doing a lot of walking, and my big toe starts to hurt due to rubbing on the top of the toe. If you wear them in sand, they will fill up quickly and you will need to dump the sand out just like regular shoes or sandals. And yes, the inserts come out when you wear them for an extended period of time and take them off. Other than the rubbing of the big toe, they are actually very comfortable to wear and walk in all day. ... show more
