My son loves these. They have a super nice smooth insole, and the inner fabric makes them just super comfy to wear. They have a thick outer sole that’s about an inch and a half or so. It’s a little bit bigger than most shoes but nothing too dramatic. They fit him perfect, even for his wider foot.

I've gotten into the high top-boot-sneaker style of footwear over the past couple of years because I like how versatile they are - generally casual and can wear them with jeans but can also go with something a little nicer. A little frustration with the pair I got here is a craftsmanship defect where the insole of the right shoe has a weird ripple in the back (see photo) that wasn't properly fastened to the shoe. When I first put them on it felt like there was a pebble in there or something. A little glue fixed the issue but I'm not generally accustomed to repairing my shoes out of the box. While these are a nice pair of shoes and I'll happily wear them for as long as they last, I definitely prefer those that have a zipper on the side to easily get them on/off and will probably look for those eventually as replacements. "Propét Men's Lucas Hi Skate Shoe" (in brown) are probably my favorites that I've gotten in this general style. ... show more

These shoes are sharp! I have a pair in green already and now I picked up these maroon ones. They look great and feel super comfortable. The red leather looks amazing. The stitching is tight with no issues to speak of. The islets match the top. They design along the top is awesome. They are comfortable too. They fit as expected which is nice because I have wide feet which can sometimes make shoes a little too tight. No issue like that here. Super nice comfortable athletic shoes. I used them today at work and they were so comfy. I was worried my feet would hurt because it was the first time wearing them but nope. They fit just perfect and the design is great. Overall great buy!

These are definitely have the boot feel. One thing I liked is how they are not overly tight. You definitely want to get your regular shoe size but if you are in between and want a tighter fit you may go 1/2 down. Since I have wide feet and would rather have that extra space for comfort I went with my regular size in 11. The sole is. Or white but more of a light cream, beige color. The inside has a nice blue color to it. Walking is comfy but I still have to break them in to see how they feel after some more time with them. We bought this shoe in size 8 in the coffee color. My husband wore them a few times and was pleased with the fit, comfort, appearance, and construction—especially the leather uppers. His only complaint was that the tab in the back could be a little bigger to help pull on this mid-rise style shoe, but it wasn’t enough to lower the five star rating! These shoes fit great and are pretty comfortable. They aren’t as comfortable as a gym shoe but aren’t uncomfortable. They’re definitely a nice going out somewhere shoe and really put an outfit together nicely. These shoes have great detail and look very very nice.
