This eye mask delivers on all fronts - comfort, style, and quality. At first I want sure I’d like the weighted aspect. I’ve been proven wrong. It’s delightful and comforting. Been using the mask for at least a few weeks, and I think it’s made a definite difference in my sleep. The best part is waking up in the morning and being able to get hit with that full blast of sunlight once you take the eye mask off. Definitely puts a little pep in your step in the morning. Due to the thickness probably not the most comfortable for those of you sleeping on your stomach - I’d suggest taking the filling out.     • A Better Sleep Mask, but With A Few Kinks

With my experience, I'll tell you how this has helped me sleep. Overall, the product has been very helpful for falling asleep, especially considering the recent weather. Y'see, I live in Maine. That means we're the first to see the sun in the Summer. So! That sun! Early camper these days, more than usual! I have some kind of bizarre circadian rhythm, so I wake up at around 4 AM, but as it is, I don't get up and get goin' until 7 AM. With the right conditions, this will help me fall asleep for those extra 2-3 hours. Here's a list of pros and cons: Pros: - Very Opaque, blocking all light if on correctly(see cons about bridge) - Covers Your eyes effectively, as it is weighted(see cons #1) - Aromatherapy aspect seems to be lasting! That's good, I think it really helps me. It's especially a very soothing scent, which I was surprised I liked - The seeds can be pushed back and forth through the outward fabric, so if there's an imbalance between the two eyes and it's making one eye REALLY uncomfortable, you can shift the weight - Sleeping on your back, the mask does not slide or slip, even on a loose strap setting Cons: - No way to adjust the weight . This was a bit of a letdown, because - If it's uncomfortable, the only way to fix it is adjusting the strap, or changing position - At times, side sleeping is not the most comfortable position, and - When side-sleeping, can require readjustment, as the mask can kind of slip and then the bridge is no longer covered, or the top corner will kind of move - Since the total weight can't really be adjusted, it can make the mask a little uncomfortable at times - The loose strap setting I have it at is necessary to prevent it from pressing on my face, so it keeps slipping down a little Overall, I would say that this is far better then the usual alternatives, in terms of normal fabric. I haven't tried some of the other masks with the eye cups, but I think the aromatherapy helped me specifically, so that's why I give it 4/5 stars: a little uncomfortable, but it does the job and does it well. ... show more

I almost didn't get it because of the split reviews. When I first got it, it did feel a bit heavy and was nervous putting it on. On the 2nd day, it didn't feel heavy. After a week, I look forward to going to sleep with it on. The lavender really helps you feel calm and relaxed. I breathe more deeply. And it really has made a difference in my sleep especially since I sleep in the daytime. A great investment in my self-care. ... show more

My husband and I work different schedules, and he also uses our bedroom for school work. This mask has really helped me get some sleep when he is working late, or comes home while I am sleeping. This product is light blocking- but is a bit heavier on the face if you like that. While the back strap is adjustable, I’ve found that it’s either too tight or too loose. It did smell like a lovely lavender smell but only for the first night out of the package. It does come with an eye cooling mask that can be put in the fridge. The ONLY reason I didn't return this after the first night is because I know it'll just end up in a landfill and I just can't stand the thought of contributing to the problem. This is a WARNING to others. The REASON it's Frequently RETURNED... which I could NOT find in the reviews.... The WORST part is terribly designed, painful strap. They had one job... they epically failed. They put painfully poorly placed hard metal adjusters on the strap (see photo with red circles around them). I cannot wear this two nights in a row because the hard metal strap connector (totally could've just sewn) sits right at the top of my ear, digging into the cartilage all night making it feel too bruised to use again for a few nights. The adjuster, also hard metal (I think?), sits right at the base of my skull, making it almost unwearable as a back sleeper OR a side sleeper. Adult heads all measure within a few inches of eachother, so I have NO IDEA why the adjuster placement would be put to sit at the very center of the back of my (very average, 21") head. Next most awful part, I didn't realize that SOME of these DO NOT come with an internal ZIPPER OR EXTRA flax and lavender to customize to your liking. Mine is filled to the max and sewn shut. The weight of the flax is too heavy, and it's so full, it presses uncomfortably on my eyeballs. I took safety pins to make divots where my eyes are (see photos), so that's partially resolved but I'd still like to take out most of the filling and put more lightweight lavender in there. Mine barely smells of lavender even :( My son is creeped out by the safety pins for eyes too. ... show more
